The work that needed to be done to the building had all been completed. The parking lot had been paved and painted. The building had been painted. All the furniture had been delivered and set up the way Harlow and Jax wanted it to be. All the liquor and beer had been delivered and set up. Harlow had created and printed off flyers to help promote the new bar. She took a day off work to go around town asking other businesses if she could leave some flyers. Most were very accommodating to her request. A few businesses declined but she was always very polite about things. She even stapled flyers to light poles around town so people could see them in as many places as possible. She had a stake in this bar so she wanted to see it succeed. Especially for the bikers' sake. Having her flyers all handed out, she headed home to figure out what to make for dinner. As she was driving home, she got a text from her husband letting her know that Tig and Chibs would be joining them for dinner that evening. She just laughed as she carefully looked at the text when she came to a stop sign. She simply replied with an "OK".

The bar would be opening up the following day at eleven am. It would close down at two am. Jax and Harlow had been very cautious in who they hired to work at the bar. Harlow insisted they see references and she called their references to thoroughly check out each applicant. They had two bartenders that both Jax and Harlow thought would be a good fit for the bar and that knew what they were doing when it came to serving and making drinks. They'd hired four waitresses to cover the whole bar and were just as selective in their hiring of waitresses as they were with hiring bartenders. They had a strict no drugs policy and each applicant was informed that if they were caught using drugs, even off the clock, that would be immediate grounds for termination. Every applicant agreed to their terms and after three days of going over references they finally hired their four waitresses. When Harlow returned home, she headed straight into the kitchen to decide what to make. They'd be having guests that evening and she wanted to have a hearty meal for them. Especially since everyone had been working so hard on the bar lately. Meatloaf sounded great so she took out two pounds of hamburger meat to start dethawing in the sink as well as all the ingredients to make it. Looking through her pantry, she opted to make a green bean casserole and baked sweet potatoes to go along with it. Hearty and delicious!

With dinner plans made, she headed to her office to get a little work done for the day. She'd stopped by the local café to grab a quick lunch while she was out trying to promote the bar so she didn't have to worry about lunch when she returned home. The bikers were at the garage working since the bar was ready to open already. Gemma wasn't sure this bar was going to do well but Jax thought otherwise. The Hairy Dog was a hellhole and only lowlifes went there. The blond thought the town could use a good, friendly, welcoming kind of bar that didn't have drugs being traded in it. A place where people could come, play some pool, play darts, watch the game, and have a few drinks. He was sure their bar was going to be a huge success. Tig and Chibs followed Quinn to clock out then head to Quinn's place at the end of the work day. Both were looking forward to Harlow's cooking and to just get away from the club for a little while. When they arrived, the two older children were at the dining table working on their homework and Harlow was in the kitchen working on dinner.

"Smells wonderful, Baby Doll. What's on the menu this evening?" Quinn asked when he went to get some beers for him and his brothers.

"Meatloaf, green bean casserole, baked sweet potatoes, and sweet Hawaiian rolls." She told him, "Oh. You need to have a long talk with your son."

"Uh oh. Who and what happened?" Quinn stated.

"Kian. Apparently he put his hands on a little girl's face at daycare and proceeded to kiss her. I've told him it wasn't a nice thing to do without her permission. It might do some good if it came from you too." Harlow explained.
