Claro Torres

As i was driving home.

I was a bit of drowsy. My eyes are heavy and it is slowly closing.

But i try and fight my sleepyness.

I don't want to be on a car accident.

"AH!"

I was startled by the loud ring of my phone that i stepped on the break.

"Thank God im still alive" i mumbled.

I picked up my phone not knowing who's the caller.

"Claro, where are you?. I've been calling you for the past 10 minutes"

Right. My father.

Wala bang one time na naging proud siya sakin?

Siguro last time na naging proud siya sakin is my first step nung baby pa ako.

"Dad im driving. I almost died can you please calm down?" i said.

"Bakit ba kasi antagal mo umuwi? Diba sabi mo bibisita ka lang sa café??"

Visiting the café was great okay! Kristine was there!

"It only takes 3 to 5 minutes to check in on them and the costumers. Why did it take you so long!?" Galit niyang sinabi.

"I met a friend there okay? Calm down geez, you're so stressed out dad. Ano ba kailangan mo?"

I scratched my head due to stressfulness.

"Ang gusto ko lang is umuwi ka. Bilisan mo na Claro Torres!"

He ended the call.

He used my full name so, im genuinely in trouble.

Everytime ganyan ang tatay ko saakin, it's either late ako umuwi o i failed my quiz or exam.

By then i just drove fast as i can.

Excuse me? That was random.

But i would like to hear that again. His voice was so calming. Like literally.

He already left so, i was here alone.

Back to studying. This is boring.

"Hey future solicitor, is it a hearsay or its real? You and Sir Claro have something special?"

A staff asked as she sat down infront of me. Yes i do have a friend here in this café.

"What? No. Hearsay it is. We just met okay?" I answered.

Bakit naman kami mag kakaroon ng something special kung ayaw namin sa isa't isa

She smirked as if she don't believe me.

"Talaga ba? I mean, maybe flirting with each other? Bagay naman kayo, opinion ko yan" She added.

Kami? Bagay? Excuse me, he called me tita though hes the one thats older than me.

I hate that of him.

But earlier, he seems like he's possessed by some kind of demon in him.

He was all kind and sweet, even complimented me.

I never expect him to do that so.

"Tumahimik ka nalang. Nag-aaral ako diba?" I annoyingly said.

She cackled as she gets back working.
