After a late night storm came through dropping a mixture of rain and snow during the night. The sun rose on New Year's Eve with both Merry and Bright and the North Pole awake, and getting ready for tonight's end of the year party. As the morning went on people went to the store to stock up on NYE decorations, noise makers, food, and drinks for tonight. At the North Pole the Claus family were making trips in and out of the ballroom where the NYE party would be held that night. "And since this is Stefanie's first NYE party with the family Rosie said someone has to do her hair and get her ready. I would do it Cora said but I suck at doing hair. Which leaves Jennifer and me to do it. Ali replied." No offense. Stefanie said to Ali but Jennifer's sisters in law are better at doing hair and makeup, and if it's ok with you and my Mom I'd like to ask Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy to help me get ready for tonight's party? I'm fine with that. Cora said sweetly to her daughter. Rosie sent a message to Jennifer via Magic and asked her if her, Ana. and Lucy could help Stefanie get ready for tonight's party. A second later Jennifer replied with Of course. Rosie opened a small shimmering gate for Stefanie and sent her to her Aunt Jennifer. As soon as Stefanie appeared in the Scott family living room she ran and gave her Aunt Jennifer a hug before turning to hug her New Uncle Jonathan. After Stefanie had hugged the Scotts Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy took her upstairs to get ready for the party. Before the Christmas Eve Wedding Stefanie told her Aunt Jennifer that she liked Metallic colors including Silver. "I'll keep that in mind for NYE. Jennifer said sweetly, and we'll help you get ready for the year end party too Ana and Lucy replied. " Now they were upstairs with Stefanie giving her a bath before doing her nails, and makeup. Ana put Stefanie's soft blond hair up in a cute curly ponytail before wrapping it around the holder, and held it in place with three Metallic Silver Star hair clips before finishing it off with hair spray that'll hold the entire night. Lucy painted Stefanie's nails with Jennifer's Sparkly Metallic Silver nail polish. Stefanie sat still as Ana did her hair and Lucy did her nails while she watched her Aunt bring out her Metallic Silver Ball Gown, shoes, a Tiara, and her jewelry. Her eyes went wide when she saw the Tiara. "Wow. Stefanie said eyeing her tiara. That's gonna be the last thing that goes on before we leave for the party tonight. Jennifer said." Are you girls hungry? Jessica asked them when she came in to check on them. Yes please. Stefanie said. Lucy double checked to make sure Stefanie's nails were completely dry before they headed downstairs to eat lunch with the family. As soon as Stefanie stepped into the dining room Jonathan's eyes went wide for a minute then he smiled when he saw the Metallic Silver on Stefanie's nails, and in her hair. You look Amazing in Metallic Silver. Jonathan said to Stefanie. Thank you. Stefanie replied as she sat between her Aunt and Uncle. They had Grilled cheese sandwiches, and Tomato soup for lunch, and water to drink. " Would anyone like seconds? Jessica asked. No thank you. Stefanie said politely. Anyone else? Jessica asked. No thanks Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy said We're stuffed." Excuse us. Jennifer said as they got up from the table and headed back upstairs to finish getting Stefanie ready for the NYE party. As the day goes on everyone in Merry and Bright and the North Pole are getting ready for NYE. Women have gone shopping and gotten their hair done at the Salon except for Stefanie who is getting ready for tonight with the help of her Aunt Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy. Between getting Stefanie ready for tonight Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy got ready themselves. Jennifer had Ice Blue, Ana had Pale pink, Lucy had Light purple, Jessica had Mint green. The men wore either Black or Dark Blue suits or Tuxes. At the North Pole Cora had Light yellow, Ali had Rose color, Aurora had Sky blue, Momma Stefanie had Red silk, and Rosie had Emerald green. While Santa and Colin wore Dark blue Tuxes. As the sun begins to set last minute errands are taken care of before ringing in the NY tonight. As the sun went down Jennifer, Stefanie, and The Scott family were dressed and ready to go. Before Jennifer opened a Shimmering Gate to the North Pole Jennifer made sure everyone had warm coat, hats, gloves, and scarves on. Jennifer added the Tiara to Stefanie's head before carefully putting the hood on her head. A minute later Jennifer opened a Large Shimmering Gate for everyone to enter. At the North Pole the Gate opened close to the ballroom where the party was being held. Drew was the last one to come through the gate after making a quick trip to the little boy's room. The North Pole was Cold with snow flurries coming down. Jennifer, Stefanie, and the Scott family made their way inside the ballroom where the Claus family is waiting for them. Jennifer and Stefanie walk in together followed by the Scotts. Rosie asked Jennifer about Stefanie's NYE party outfit. "See for yourself? Jennifer said. Stefanie stepped into the ballroom, and right away Cora and the family were in awe at how beautiful Stefanie looked in Metallic Silver. Soon the party is in full swing, the tv is on so everyone can watch the ball drop in Times Square. As time ticks close to Midnight everyone has gathered around the tv Stefanie is between her Aunt Jennifer and her Uncle Jonathan. When the ball drops to light up the New Year. Stefanie gets a kiss on the cheek from her Aunt and Uncle before Jonathan pulls his new wife in for a kiss as everyone sings "Auld Lang Syne."
