A Little Christmas Magic. Epilogue Two years later.

The town of Merry and Bright is up and enjoying the sunshine of the Spring time. Both The Scotts and The Claus families are at Jonathan and Jennifer's new eco-chic home for a house warming party. During the party Jonathan and Jennifer told their families about the three weeks they spent in Europe for their Honeymoon. As Jonathan showed their families the pictures that were taken Jennifer went into their new kitchen to get some ginger ale to settle her stomach. Two hours before the party started Jennifer went to the doctor with Ana and Lucy she wasn't feeling well and thought she had the flu, but twenty minutes later the doctor came back and told Jennifer that she was expecting twins. Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy were shocked but soon Jennifer smiled and made Ana and Lucy promise not to say anything to Drew or JD or the family until she was ready to tell Jonathan. As Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy left the doctor's office Ana and Lucy were thrilled for Jennifer, but they asked her how was she planning on telling Jonathan that they were having Twin Girls? They were walking past a store and in the window display were two Mini Pink Plaid Onesies that said Twin Girls. "Those are Perfect. Jennifer said as she went into the store and bought the Mini Pink helmets, and had them gift wrapped for later." Jennifer, Ana, and Lucy get back to the house ten minutes before everyone arrives. They duck into Jonathan's office and use a sheet of paper to write Jonathan's name on it. Mean while both families have arrived at the same time and put their House warming presents on the table before getting something to drink and mingle with each other. Ana and Lucy step out first to distract their husbands so Jennifer can slip out of Jonathan's office and hide Jonathan's present among the others before joining everyone. With the party now in full swing Jennifer is in the kitchen sipping her ginger ale to keep from getting sick. Ana and Lucy walk into the kitchen to check on Jennifer. "Are you ok? Ana asks Jennifer. I'm ok, but I'm not sure whose wearing the cheap perfume or cologne." It's not coming from anyone in our families. Lucy said. So it has to be coming from someone or something else then. Ana replied. While Lucy stays in the kitchen with Jennifer Ana goes and searches for the cheap scent of perfume coming from the party. After a few minutes she found the source of the scent of cheap perfume. The bouquet of Lilies sitting on the dining room table is giving off the scent of cheap perfume. Ana went back into the kitchen and told Jennifer she found the source of the cheap perfume, and told her it was coming from the bouquet of Lilies sitting on the dining room table. Ana heads back to the dining room and picks up the bouquet of Lilies off the table and takes them outside to toss in the garbage, and sits the now empty flower pot on the back stairs. Before heading back inside to Jennifer, Lucy, and the party. With the cheap perfume scent gone Jennifer heads back to the party, and follows the sweet masculine scent of Jonathan's cologne to her husband of two years and kisses him on his cheek. " Are you two gonna open your housewarming gifts yet? John asked Jennifer and Jonathan. Yes we are. Jennifer said moving to the presents sitting on the table, and picked up her gift to her husband, and handed it to him. Open this one first. Jennifer said sitting down on the couch with Jonathan sitting next to her he opened his wife's present to him. Lucy and Ana watched excitedly while Jessica and Rosie were taking pictures. Jennifer covered her mouth to hide her smile when Jonathan pulled out the two Mini Pink Plaid Onesies with Twin Girls on them." What the??? Jonathan said shocked then looked at his wife and asked her if they were having a baby. You mean babies. Lucy and Ana said, and Yes your having Twin Girls Jonathan. Both families were stunned but Jonathan got up and pulled Jennifer to him and kissed her. I'm gonna be a Dad! He said excited. Thank you baby. Jonathan said as he hugged her. One by One the housewarming gifts were opened, and set aside as Thank yous were said by Jonathan and Jennifer. Everyone is eating and drinking, and having fun. The women are sitting down on chairs and couches talking to Jennifer about plans for a baby shower, and a gender reveal party. Jennifer shook her No. "No gender reveal party. Jennifer said. Everyone knows the babies are girls. The baby shower is great, but the gender reveal party is not needed besides both Me and Jonathan agree that a gender reveal party is ridiculous." Ok so no gender reveal party. Ana said.  What about food? Rosie and Momma gave Ana and Lucy a list of foods that Jennifer can and can't eat while pregnant. And at the top of the Can't Eat List is NO SEAFOOD! Wait so Jennifer can't eat seafood Jonathan asked. I'm afraid not. Rosie said Seafood isn't good for pregnant women. Jonathan knelt in front of Jennifer the mother to their twins and told her that she was more important to him then seafood, and if he has to give it up to be able to hold her in his arms then so be it. I love you Jennifer. Jonathan said sweetly kissing her on her head. Awwwww. Rosie and Jessica said. Which means Momma said to Drew and JD your not to come anywhere near Jennifer with your seafood. "Oh man. Drew and JD said. Oh man nothing Momma said getting in their faces those are my Great grand-daughters that Jennifer is carrying and you will not cause her to lose those precious babies" Before Jonathan could say anything Jennifer stood up calmly and in a blink her eyes turned a Dark Blue. Oh shoot! Stefanie said looking at her Aunt Jennifer and told Drew and JD they were about to get an earful. Jennifer walked to Drew and JD and told them that if they want to be a part of their Daughters lives then they better decide What's more important to them? Choose Wisely Jennifer said coldly before walking back to Jonathan. As soon as Jennifer sat back down next to Jonathan Lucy and Ana looked their husbands in the eyes and said Just for complaining that Jennifer can't eat seafood because she's expecting the both of you will be helping us plan Jennifer's Baby Shower. Just so you know Momma said I will be watching the pair of you and if this Baby Shower isn't to Jennifer's liking there's gonna be a problem. Jessica, Rosie, Momma, Lucy, and Ana sit down with Jennifer with Drew and JD sitting in chairs taking notes. "What colors were you thinking for the Baby Shower? Drew asked Jennifer. Pink for sure. Jennifer said but I'm not sure what shade of white we should go with?" How about a warm white color? Stefanie said pulling up a picture on her phone of a warm white baby decoration. Stefanie showed her Aunt the picture on her phone of a cute warm white Teddy Bear with twins on it's stomach. " That is so cute honey. Jennifer said to her niece. I love it. Jonathan said looking at the picture. After coming up with ideas for the Baby shower, and Drew and JD writing the plans down the women split up in to two teams to help JD and Drew with the Baby shower. It was agreed that Jennifer would be called when they were unsure which decorations would look right for the baby shower. After the baby shower plans were made Jonathan went into the kitchen and took out his plan for the eco-chic nursery for Jennifer and their babies. " Penny for your thoughts. Santa asked Jonathan. Jonathan looked up at his father in Law and told he wanted to do something special for Jennifer and their girls, but I don't know if I can do all the work alone. You don't have to. Santa said you have us to help you with the nursery he pointed to JD, Drew, and John standing in the kitchen doorway."  The men gathered around Jonathan in the kitchen as he went over the plans for the eco-chic nursery. A few mins later they left the kitchen and headed upstairs to the second floor, and walked into the only space big enough for the nursery for the twins. They laid out the floor plan for the nursery. " Are we splitting the room in half for the girls to have their own space or are they sharing? JD asked Jonathan. We're gonna split the room in half so each baby will have their own space. Jonathan said. I would leave this ugly shag rug on the floor John said until we;re done painting the entire room. That way we can throw the rug away afterwards."  Works for me. Drew said. I'm ready to get this nursery going.  JD chimed in. Drew and JD looked at each other and said to Jonathan How are we supposed to do both plan the baby shower and work on the nursery in three weeks time?  "The only thing I can think of is asking for help. Jonathan said. Yeah but who can keep a secret this Huge? JD added. Drew smiled and said Stefanie. Jonathan laughed Drew's right Stefanie can keep secrets like you would not believe.  If we ask Stefanie for help we have to tell her that we're working on a TOP SECRET Project and will need her help with the baby shower. A few minutes later Stefanie came up the stairs looking for the guys and found them in the empty space. "What's going on? she asked. Drew closed the door and knelt down and asked Stefanie for help. We need your help Stefanie JD added. Me and Drew have a TOP SECRET project we have to work on but we won't  be able to work on the Baby Shower in the three weeks time. So basically in a nut shell your asking me to keep this a Secret from my Aunt and the rest of the women in the family? Stefanie replied. Yes we are. JD said. Please Stefanie.  Jonathan added I wanna have this nursery done for your Aunt Jennifer in time for the baby shower. Stefanie thought about it for a bit then said Deal." You work on the nursery and I'll handle the Baby Shower plans.  Thank you Stefanie JD and Drew said giving her a hug before she left the room. Plans for the baby shower got started on the next day as well as the nursery. Stefanie took control of the baby shower plans from moving a few pieces of furniture, which places had the cutest Baby shower items, makes the best cupcakes, to the most realistic Fake Roses ever,and the best Florist for real Roses. Meanwhile the men got what they needed to start painting the nursery. Both teams worked hard over the next few days.  At one point Lucy and Ana had asked Stefanie where JD and Drew were? All the women got from Stefanie was their working on a TOP SECRET Project. Jennifer didn't push her niece for more information instead kept everyone one their toes with the Baby shower plans. By the end of the first week both plans were in action. At the start of week two JD texted Stefanie to see how the Baby shower plans were going? "Like clockwork. Stefanie texted back. Great. we're making great progress on the nursery too. JD texted back before he put his phone away, and continued to help Drew put one crib together for one girl while Santa and John put the other crib together for the other one." Meanwhile Jonathan was out looking for cute pieces of furniture for the nursery which were sent to the house. Jonathan called Drew to let him know furniture for the nursery was on it's way to the house. The men were downstairs waiting when the truck arrived with the nursery items Jonathan pulled into the driveway and unloaded a few bags with more nursery items in them. All the nursery items were upstairs by the time the women got home with items for the Baby shower. Both teams worked on their plans, but saved the small stuff for last on the third and final week with just one day to go until the Baby shower the men put the final touches on the nursery. Jonathan smiled at how beautiful the eco-chic nursery turned out. The names for their twin girls were put on plaques and hung on the walls and painted on to their Cribs. Drew had asked Jonathan how he came up with the names Isabelle and Noelle for the babies? Simple. Jonathan said I asked Jennifer what she wanted to name our twins and Jennifer said Isabelle and Noelle. Awww. Santa and John said. That is so sweet. JD replied. With the nursery done the men head down stairs to help the women prep the food for the Baby shower tomorrow. "I thought you guys were working on a TOP SECRET Project. Ana said. We were. JD replied sweetly we just finished it. Any chance you can tell us what the Top Secret Project was? Lucy asked Jonathan. Nope. It's a surprise for my beautiful wife of two years. Jonathan said kissing Jennifer's cheek. That is so sweet, and I can't wait to see what it is. Rosie said. As sweet as this is what You and Jennifer need is a cute nursery for your babies. Jessica said to Jonathan. John walked over and kissed his wife and said Maybe.  While the food is being made Rosie has washed some celery stalks before cutting them in half and puts cream cheese in the middle with a little sprinkle of chives on top. But just as quickly as Rosie makes them they disappear into Jennifer's mouth. Rosie smiles and says If you keep eating the food there won't be anything left for the Baby shower tomorrow. "Sorry Mom. Jennifer said I have the munchies. Jessica laughed. More like cravings sweetie which is totally normal in expectant Moms. Lucy and Ana were cutting up some fruit into a bowl and put some into a small bowl for Jennifer to eat. This should keep you busy for awhile Lucy said." Yeah so long as Jennifer doesn't ask for pickles and ice cream. JD said. Jennifer looked at JD and said Ewwwww. Who would eat that stuff? Unfortunately expectant Moms do. Jessica said. Not me. Jennifer said. In the North Pole the only thing I ate when I was expecting with Jennifer were cookies, milk, and Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. And the occasional mug of Peppermint Cocoa. Momma said. The morning of the Baby shower dawned bright and cool. Stefanie was helping tie balloons to chairs. A soft white lace tablecloth was put on the dining room table before the decorations were placed on it with the Fake Roses laying between them, and vases holding the real Roses. Gold Crowns were set on tables with either a Pink or White rose in the middle and a Pink Pacifier as well. Everyone worked during the morning setting things up by the time the afternoon rolled around people started to get ready for the baby shower. When Jonathan was ready he asked Jennifer if she wants her Baby shower gift now or wait?" Now would be nice. Jennifer said. Then come with me baby Jonathan said holding his hand out to her. Jennifer put her hand in Jonathan's and went with him to see her baby shower present. They walked a few steps down the hall to the space the men had worked on for the past three weeks." Close your eyes. Jonathan said softly to Jennifer. Jennifer closed her eyes as Jonathan turned the knob on the door and gently opened it, and walked Jennifer into her present. On the count of three Jonathan said open your eyes. Ok. Jennifer replied. Jonathan counted to three and Jennifer slowly opened her eyes and as soon as she saw the nursery for their babies Jennifer let out a soft cry. Oh my Goodness. Jennifer said tears trickling down her cheeks as she looked around the beautiful eco-chic nursery. Soon the women came in and were in complete Awe when they saw the nursery. Did you guys do this for Jennifer? Rosie asked the men. We did. The men said proudly. Jennifer walked around the nursery for their babies gently running her hand over the Cribs, plaques, table, and mobiles." Try the rocking chair sweetheart. Jonathan said to Jennifer. Jennifer sat down in the rocking chair and began to gently rock back and forth enjoying the comfort and gentle motion of the chair." After a few mins Jennifer got up and went to hug Jonathan and thanked him and the men for the beautiful nursery for their babies. How about we go downstairs and get this baby shower started. Rosie said. Sounds good to me. Lucy said. "As everyone left the nursery Jennifer stayed behind and gently touched Jonathan's arm and told him to wait a min. When the room was empty Jennifer pulled Jonathan to her to kiss him softly on the mouth and thanked him for the beautiful nursery for their girls and she loved him." Soon Jennifer and Jonathan headed down the stairs to join their families for the baby shower. " Everything ok? Rosie asked Jennifer. We're good. Jennifer said to her Mom I just wanted a min with Jonathan to thank him for the nursery for the girls and tell him I love him. "Awwww Lucy and Ana said. I don't know about you but I'm hungry Drew said. Everyone got their food and drinks and sat down to eat. Jonathan and the men looked around the living room and noticed the Baby shower decorations . Nice job on the decorations. Santa said to the ladies. Thank you. Rosie replied, but Let's give credit to where it's due Stefanie knew the best places to go for baby shower decorations. Stefanie smiled and said Your welcome. As soon as everyone finished eating Stefanie went and got her baby shower present for her Aunt Jennifer from it's hiding place in a cabinet and placed it in front of her to open. "This is from me Aunt Jen. Stefanie said. Awwww thanks sweetie. Jennifer replied as she untied the ribbon and saved it for her hair, but had a hard time with the tape. Sorry Aunt Jen. Stefanie said I went a little nuts with the tape. Jonathan took a small pocket knife and cut the tape at the top of the gift basket." After Jonathan cut the tape on the gift basket Jennifer removed the wrapping from the basket. Jennifer smiled at all the baby items in the basket for their babies. I love this sweetie. Jennifer said to Stefanie they will absolutely come in handy for when we have the twins. Jennifer leaned over and hugged her niece. Lucy and Ana gave Jennifer a gift bag from them. Inside the bag were baby bottles and stuffed animals." The real gift is in the fridge Lucy said to Jennifer. Jonathan got up and headed to check the kitchen to check the fridge and inside he saw four gallons of Apple Juice for Jennifer and the babies." Jonathan walked back into the living room and smiled, and said that's a lot of apple juice for you and the babies as he gave Jennifer a kiss on her cheek.
