First Date. Ch. 4.

As everyone slept a Thunderstorm came through, and was gone six am. But the roads were wet from the rain and there were puddles some big and some small that people had to walk or drive through on their way to work, walking kids to the bus stop, or driving them to school. Jasmine and her family were still sleeping, as was Jonathan and his family. But Adam and Avery were up getting ready for more community service. Avery went to work with her Mom while Adam had to report back to the LVPD. By seven am Adam was back at the park picking up garbage. After an hour and a half went by Adam had picked up a ton of garbage, had warm coffee tossed at him by one passer by , and a slightly melted smoothie tossed at him by a teen on her way to school tossed at his head causing the lid to pop off and the sticky smoothie run down his head, clothes, and shoes. On top of that a truck went through a big puddle splashing Adam with cold, muddy, and smelly rainwater. Adam was not in a good mood by the time an officer came to check on him later that morning. When the officer saw Adam he asked What the hell happened to him? Fed up with the LVPD and his community service Adam called over his shoulder Screw This! And went home. As Adam left the park to go home the police officer went to his car and notified his Chief that Adam left his community service and to Notify his parents. Avery wasn't fairing any better this morning at her Mom's work. After being told what to do Avery had enough and told the next person to F*ck off and left the building and went home to eat lunch,and laid down to take a nap. She didn't care if her Mom got mad at her for leaving the job She'd had enough bs for an Army. Meanwhile Jasmine and her family got up at ten-thirty that morning Jonathan and his family got up five mins after they did. After exchanging "Good Morning" texts Jonathan texted Jasmine that he couldn't wait to see her tonight at seven-thirty this evening, and wear something casual. Ok. Jasmine texted back. See U Later my Scottish Prince Charming,and added a heart at the end.    Jonathan smiled. And sent one more text before heading off to do some work with Drew. The last text Jasmine got from Jonathan said Bet On It sweetheart. Jasmine blushed. Oh Boy. She said to her Mom. "What's up? Julie asked. Jasmine turned her phone around so her Mom could see the texts between her and Jonathan a few mins ago. Julie carefully read the texts and her ears turned a soft pink. Oh Boy is right. Julie said handing Jasmine back her phone. " Any idea what your gonna wear on your First Date tonight with Jonathan. Julie asked. I do. Jasmine said, but I wanna make sure it's nice out this evening. It's gonna be in the 70's this evening. Her Dad said. Perfect. Jasmine said. Thanks Dad as she ran upstairs to take her casual outfit out of the closet with her shoes, and purse. A short time later Mia and Tiffani came over to ask Jasmine to babysit for them tonight. Tough shit. Jasmine said coming downstairs I have a date tonight and I'm not cancelling my date to babysit your two hellions. But you went to the Valentine's Day Party at the Luxor last night. Mia complained. Yes I did. Jasmine said and I had a great time,and met a Tall, Handsome man too. And if your thinking about calling our grandparents don't bother their going out to play Bingo. And after you and Tiffani stiffed me the last time I babysat it took Me, Mom, and Dad two and a half hours to clean up after your kids ran all over the house tearing stuff up. Jasmine replied. So if you two need a babysitter go find another sucker. Dad said. As Mia and Tiffani left Jasmine's grandparents came over for a short visit. Jasmine told them that she had a date tonight and showed them the picture from the Valentine's Day Party with Jonathan. " What time is he coming to pick up? Grandma asked. Seven-thirty. Jasmine said. They talked a few more mins until the sun started to set. Jasmine said good-bye to her grandparents and ran upstairs to take a quick shower, dry off, and get dressed with Julie's help.  Jonathan arrived home and took a fast shower before drying off and getting dressed. Meanwhile Jasmine's grandparents showered and got dressed for the evening to play Bingo. At exactly seven-thirty Jonathan pulled up in front of Jasmine's house in a Silver Mustang. After meeting Jasmine's parents and Grandparents Jonathan and Jasmine left at her parents urging to stay out late and Live a Little. Earlier that evening Avery got an earful from her parents. As she ate dinner she got a job offer at Rainbow Nails to fill in for a Nail Tech that went out of town for a wedding. As her parents were going out for the evening Avery told them she got a new job and she starts tomorrow morning. Alright. Her Dad said. We'll be stopping by tomorrow to check on you. Meanwhile Jonathan and Jasmine had planned on going to the movies, but the line was way too long. Good lord. Jonathan said shocked. I told you. Jasmine said. They passed on the movie, and went to get dinner and maybe go for a walk on The Strip. Jonathan parked in a parking lot after making sure the doors were closed and locked, and the alarm set they walked a short way down the sidewalk to an Italian restaurant surrounded by flowering hedges. The walkway was lined with soft grey pavers leading to the small flight of steps and to the front door. Jonathan held the door open for Jasmine to let her walk in before him. Jonathan had just stepped into the restaurant as Jasmine was greeted by a Middle-aged woman of Italian decent. Jasmine. Gina said smiling warmly. What brings you here tonight? Jasmine turned to Jonathan and said Gina this is my date Jonathan. Jonathan this is Mama Gina her Family owns this restaurant. It's a pleasure to meet you. Jonathan said shaking Mama Gina's hand. Your usual table tonight? Mama Gina said to Jasmine. Not tonight Mama. Jasmine replied. Regina. Mama Gina called out We need a table for two for Jasmine and her handsome gentleman. Regina led Jasmine and Jonathan to a table for two. Since it's a special occasion. Carlo Mama Gina's husband said How about you sing for us Jasmine. Jonathan is shocked and said Are you kidding me? Jasmine can sing. Yes she can. Mama Gina said. She sounds like a beautiful songbird. Jasmine sets her purse down and heads to the stage to sing a few songs from Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. The restaurant was full tonight as people stopped to watch Jasmine sing.  As she left the stage everyone applauded her performance. She sat down across from Jonathan to order their dinner. After a while Jasmine and Jonathan left the restaurant,and went for a walk on The Strip. Soon they ran into Drew, JD, Lynda, and Holly who were waiting to get into The Club for Karaoke Night. Hey Mark. Jasmine said. As she walked up to the Bouncer. Mark smiled and said if it isn't our Karaoke Champion. Jasmine smiled Thank you, but it's no good if my date and his family can't get in to watch me. Jasmine grabbed the microphone and started singing "Mamma Mia" in front of the crowd then headed inside The Club with Jonathan and his family behind him. As they sat front row Jasmine continued to sing with Lynda and Holly singing back-up from the crowd. Jasmine wiggled her finger at them to join her on stage for her next song while Jonathan, Drew, and JD watched their ladies sing for the Club goers that came out for Karaoke Night. Jonathan filmed the whole performance to show their parents. A short time later Karaoke Night was over Jasmine, Jonathan, Drew, Lynda, JD, and Holly left the Club and stepped out into the cool evening air,and got some ice cream. Jasmine's parents and grandparents left Bingo a few mins later Julie had a smile on her face after getting a Double Bingo. James was shocked and said I can't believe you got a Double Bingo. They came upon Jasmine sitting at a table with Jonathan, Drew, JD, Lynda, and Holly. Julie walked over to Jasmine and handed her the envelope she was holding, and kissed her on the cheek and told her and Jonathan to have a Great Night. Her parents and Grandparents headed home for the night. Jasmine opened the envelope and read the Note from her Mom. Jasmine smiled and whispered in Jonathan's ear if he would like to spend the night with her at the MGM Grand Hotel. Jonathan smiled and said Absolutely. They said their goodnights to Jonathan's brothers and Lynda and Holly, and headed to the MGM Grand Hotel for the night. Once inside their suite for the night Jonathan and Jasmine showered, talked, ate some fruit and drank water, shared a slow dance, before sleeping together. Outside another late night Thunderstorm came through but not everyone was happy. After Adam had walked away from his community service that afternoon his parents were called, and five mins later a warrant was issued for his arrest. Adam ran to a friend's house and hid up in the Treehouse for the night.
