Jisoo.
Rosie and I went to one of the shopping malls in the district. I have to suppress a sigh every now and then because I know I have incognito bodyguards keeping an eye out.
The latter seemed to be enjoying the surroundings because the smile hasn't left her face ever since we left the park.
"Wow! This place is magnificent! I never had the chance to visit one because I have multiple jobs," Rosie exclaimed as she looked around. I chuckled at her reaction. Her simplicity and innocence takes my breath away. I held on to her arm gently to steer her to a nice looking restaurant so we could eat. Rosie looked at me and smiled again.
"Thank you for this day, Jisoo. I'm having so much fun already. Where are we going by the way?" she asked as she allowed herself to be steered on.
"Let's eat something. All the excitement is making me hungry. Aren't you?" I teased as we walked.
"I'm getting hungry too," she answered, chuckling.
"Good then. Come on this way," I said. Rosie smiled again and I took her to one of my favorite chicken restaurants.
I noticed her hesitation the moment we're about to enter the door. She stopped and I looked at her.
"Are you okay, Rosie?" I asked, looking worried at her. She nodded a little reluctantly.
"I am. Are you sure though that this is where we're going to eat, Soo?" I nodded and took her hand without even asking for her permission.
"Yes. The food here is superb. Don't think about what others are doing or whatever their reaction might be. You have an equal right to eat here. I got you," I answered gently and wrap an arm around her shoulders this time. Rosie leaned in against me a little, trusting and my heart soared.
Okay, I'm admitting right now that I have a little crush on her. I just can't help it. She's someone you can easily like.
"Okay. I trust you. Let's go then?" she asked, smiling. I nodded again and smiled back.
We went in and I requested for a private parlor so that Rosie won't get uncomfortable. Thank goodness there is a back parlor that is secluded from the rest of the place. I gave our order to the server and Rosie just smiled the entire time. Looking around as well every now and then.
"Does this place make you uncomfortable?" I asked the moment the server left. Rosie looked at me and shook her head.
"A little at first but I trust you and your judgment so now not anymore. Thank you again, Soo. It smells good here by the way." I chuckled at that.
"I know we just met today but I really want you to be comfortable with me. I want to be friends with you," I said bluntly.
Rosie froze a little then hid it instantly. I couldn't blame her though. This kind of scene exists only in the movies or books. She then blushed a little then looked away.
"I want to be friends with you too, Soo. I just didn't know if that's possible for us since we're literally not on the same level on so many things. I didn't even know if I'll see you again after today. You're an important person and I figured that you'll be busy all the time." I chuckled at that.
"I am a busy person but I can make time for my friends, you know. I didn't have a lot to be honest. It's just my best friend Lisa and my younger sister Jennie."
"You have a sister?" Rosie asked. I nodded.
"Yes. She's not in the country though. After our grandparents died, we were tasked to take on the family company. It's just me and her ever since the very beginning. We lost our parents when we were both young."
