Jisoo.
I was beyond shocked the moment I saw Lisa go out of that portal or whatever. I never pegged her to be from where Chaeyoung is from. This must be the reason I was reluctant in telling her everything. This is what is off about her the past few days.
Why she was mad at Chaeyoung though, I have no fucking idea. So when I felt Lisa's hand wrapped around my neck, I felt all the strength in me vanished. I couldn't, for the love of God, fight her back.

"Hi. Are you new here?" the 18 year old me asked the new girl the moment she entered the room. She's a little shabby looking. Tall and lanky. Shoulder length hair with fringe. I smiled internally when I saw her. I know she's someone I can easily make friends with.
The girl looked at me, looking a little scared that made me frown internally.
"Y-Yes. Do-do you want anything?" she stuttered and looked around nervously.
"Not really. I just want to introduce myself. I'm Jisoo by the way. You are?" I asked, smiling. The girl smiled back, still nervous looking.
"Lalisa. You can call me Lisa. Pleased to meet you, Jisoo unnie."
"Same here, Lisa. Come, sit beside me. Join me for lunch later as well. You seem not from around here. Did you just transfer to SNU?" Lisa nodded and smiled again, she looked at ease now.
"I literally just moved here in Seoul yesterday. I'm from Thailand."
"Wow! What's it like there? How old are you by the way? You looked a looooot younger than I am," I teased as we walked to where we'll sit. Lisa chuckled.
"I'm 14, unnie. I was sort of promoted academically, that's why I'm in this class," Lisa said shyly.
"Double wow! You're even younger than my sister, Jennie! That is so cool!" I exclaimed, ecstatic. I feel so excited about meeting a new person. She seems like a good person to me and more to that, she's not from Korea. Meaning she doesn't know who I am and will treat me equally.
"You might mean very nerdy, unnie. I was kind of scared of the way people looked at me when I entered the gate earlier."
"Don't mind them, Lis. I got you. You have to tell me more about Thailand later. Class is about to start. Good thing you made it in time," I teased again and we sat down.
Lisa, I learned, came from an abusive family. Her father died a few weeks earlier before she moved to Seoul. My heart aches for her. I got the gist of why she's scared when I approached her.
-------------
"Wh-why are you doing th-this?" I asked, trying to catch my breath.
"I just want to see the look on the Queen's face when I take everything from her. They can't help you, unnie. You're at my mercy right now but I'm not apologizing. You don't know how much restraint I put in myself to prevent me from just killing you. I really was going to but not until the Queen comes back to finally get to you," Lisa said, mocking but I can see something else in her eyes.
She's lying.
I tried to get out of her grip but I simply cannot. She did something that will render me helpless. I can hear Chaeyoung pleading with the latter and her guards. I wanted to tell my love that it'll be okay but Lisa's hand is tightening in my neck.
Lisa then pulled out some kind of a knife. I haven't seen anything like it before. The curve of the blade is deadly and it's a double ended blade it seems.
