Jisoo.
The moment I heard Taeyang oppa about some sort of marking on my neck, the bloodlust I felt vanished. I immediately looked at Chaeyoung and I noticed the fear in her eyes. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
"I'm so sorry. I don't know what has gotten into me," I murmured softly, reaching out a hand. Chaeyoung immediately took it and squeezed gently. I returned the pressure just as gently.
"Love, don't scare me like that again please," she murmured back and touched my face. I closed my eyes again the moment she did.
"I'm so sorry, love." Then I looked at the other 2, sort of cowering in where they're standing.
"I'm so sorry, Bobby, Taeyang oppa. But I stand with what I said, no can ever stop me when it comes to Jennie and Chaeyoung. I may not remember anything, but they are my priority." Both of them nodded, still looking apprehensive. I honestly didn't know what had got into me.
"This is what I am afraid of to be honest, Your Grace. We could still stop you somehow when you were just a kid but now, I'm not so sure anymore. I still could but you'll definitely kill me." I sigh at that.
Do I really have the guts to get somebody killed? Maybe I really could most especially if it's Jennie and Chaeyoung and my kid.
"You 2 really have to explain further real soon. I feel like I'm being kept in the dark. And what is it about some markings and stuff you were talking about?" I asked. Chaeyoung sighed and I looked at her. She smiled gently and pulled her shirt to reveal some sort of a tattoo just below her collarbone. I looked closely at it but I can't understand whatever it is written there. Bobby and Taeyang oppa gasped.
"It's mainly folklore in Andorra because no one has actually seen it. The Ancient Marking of Fate seals 2 souls who are meant for each other. It appeared the night we surrendered ourselves to each other, Soo. But yours, I only see it now. I have read about those that only appear when triggered by an overwhelming emotion but they are a Taboo. They are considered dangerous," it was Chaeyoung who answered.
Despite the word dangerous, I couldn't contain the stupid grin off my face. The tattoo meant that me and Chaeyoung are indeed for each other.
"I'm so sorry, love but I just couldn't help it knowing that we're really meant for each other. But how was it considered dangerous by the way?"
"It's because no one can contain an Ancient One with that kind of marking. Once they get lost in whatever emotion they feel, especially anger, it means death, Your Grace. But it looks like only the Queen can contain you. I was sure earlier that you'll pounce," Bobby answered and Chaeyoung nodded.
"Based on what is on your mark that I briefly saw, love, it seems that my mark overpower yours." I sighed in relief at that. I don't want to be a danger to Chaeyoung.
"Well, I'm actually relieved that only you can contain me or whatever, love. I still don't understand a lot of things but I'm willing to wait until Jennie arrives. How is she by the way? You said she remembers all of what's happened. I know she's mad but I don't know to what extent."
"We're not too sure to what extent as well, Your Grace. But if Hoyeon can't stop her from getting the last flight out, that means she's seriously angry. I advised Hoyeon to maintain a little distance because Jennie might lose control," it was Taeyang oppa who answered. I sighed again.
"You guys should have let me speak with her at least. I hate to think that Jennie was going all through this alone. She needs me right now. What time will they arrive by the way? We should pick them up at the airport."
"It would be best right now for you to stay here with Your Majesty, Your Grace. You don't have to worry about anything, I'm personally making sure that your sister will be safe." I nodded, not really wanting to argue anymore because my head started to ache.
