NO ONE'S POV.
"No matter what happens, Bo-Gum, Dong-wook and Ji-young," the King has already having troubles speaking. He just took an arrow to the chest.
The entire Kingdom is in chaos right now. The uprising has started and it's being led by the King's brother who wanted to have the throne for himself. The Queen has died first and it greatly weaken the will of the King.
"Pl-please get Chaeyoung out of here completely. She won't be safe in the kingdom anymore. Pr-promise me you, th-three. You-you have to ensure that wh-when Chaeyoung returns, she-she's ready."
"Save your strength, Pyeha. The princess is currently out the archway as we speak and when all of this has started. Ji-young will follow her there immediately and will prevent her from coming back, at least for now. We will get through this. Hold on a little longer. Help is on the way," Bo-gum said, fighting the tears back.
"N-no. I can f-feel th-that's my time al-already. Pl-please ex-explain to-to my da-daughter i-in ti-time. I-I am counting on yo-you th-three."
The King gripped the arms of his most trusted generals and advisors in turns. His daughter's chambermaid, Ji-young is just silently crying on the side.
He smiled weakly. His daughter is sure much stronger and smarter than he is and is fit to rule this kingdom some day. Chaeyoung will definitely save this place when the time comes. His heart hurt though at the thought that he and his wife will not be there when that time comes.
His wife.
With that, tears from his eyes fell. He was not able to even attempt to save the life of his wife and that crushes his spirit and heart beyond repair. In that instant, he knew that he'll fail to protect the place and the people he has sworn his life to protect.
"Pyeha, help is coming. Please hold on a little more. The North is almost here, please," he heard Dong-wook but shook his head.
"Th-there is n-no ti-time. Yo-you th-three n-need to ge-get o-out of he-here n-now," he said with finality. Determined at the last minute not to leave his beloved kingdom.
"Bu-but, Pyeha," Bo-gum begins to protest but he cut him off.
"G-go! No-now! As your Ki-King, th-that i-is m-my fi-final o-order. Pl-please ta-take ca-care a-and lo-look o-out fo-for Ch-Chaeyoung. Go!"
It is still a King's order after all that the 3 didn't have much of a choice. There's a sudden explosion from a distance and that meant the opposing army is already in the vicinity of the Palace. Bo-gum squeezed the hand of the King as his final respect. Dong-wook and Ji-young did the same and the King just nodded his gratitude and closed his eyes. Totally surrendering to whatever fate has left for him.

"No! You have to take me to where my father is, Dong-wook! That is an order!" Chaeyoung shouted the moment she learned that the kingdom has fallen. Only 7 years old and the generals couldn't help but notice the fire of determination burning in her eyes. Also, the anger. The general shook his head internally, determined not to let the princess have the same fate as her parents. He owes that to the late King and Queen.
"No, yeowang nim. I have a promise to uphold to your father and I will not allow you to even put a step back to the palace. Ji-young, you know what to!" Bo-gum said with finality.
Chaeyoung's tears fell at that. There is nothing much that she could do right now. She can see the black smoke billowing relentlessly from the palace's direction and there's just no way she could pass without getting killed. She hopelessly looked at that direction with tears flowing from her eyes.
Her parents are dead. At least that's what Bo-gum and Dong-wook told her the moment she returned to the kingdom through the arch.
No, this can't be happening! This is not happening!
They we're interrupted when a sudden explosion hit the arch that it almost broke in 2. Bo-gum grabbed her as the debris fall but doesn't prevent a big chunk of the arch falling on her left arm. Chaeyoung knew it's broken. The pain of it doesn't even match the pain of knowing she has lost her mother and father and the place she calls home.
There were shouts of command coming from every direction. She saw how Dong-wook is engaged in a battle, how Bo-gum shields her with his body and how Ji-young brandished a sword like she has never really knew her chambermaid well enough.
Looking at the arch, the eternal fire is beginning to lose it's flame. That meant only one thing, the mortal world will be exposed to the on going war and this has been what her father has sworn to protect. Nothing will ever mess up the world of the immortals and mortal. This is one day is going to be the duty she's going to uphold.
"Do not seal the gate!" Chaeyoung heard someone shouted and she knows she has to do something. With all the remaining strength she has left, she pushed Bo-gum off of her.
She needs to seal the archway from the outside. She knows the spell. She has been attempting to master it ever since she agreed the deal with her father. But she's too young to even conjure it. She knows that it could possibly take her life. But right now, the need to seal the gate is much more important than anything else. Her parents are dead and that could only mean one thing; she's now the Queen and protecting the Kingdom is first and foremost than her own life. She's determined to do it.
It's now or never.
Bo-gum and Dong-wook made to stop her from what she's attempting to do but she knows how to fend them off.
Both generals are met with an invisible barrier when they tried to touch her. The force is too strong that it sends them flying away from the opposite direction of the arch. For a 7 year old, that is quite an accomplishment already.
"Chaeyoung, no!" Ji-young shouted, attempting to stop her as well but she was already in the position to cast the spell to seal the gate. Only a powerful Myrrh will be open it again from the inside.
"Stop the Queen!" That same cold, shrill, terrifying voice shouted again.
I have to do this.
"Imperio mihi, hserede et rectore regni huius potestate collata, omnibus naturae viribus hanc portam obsignare praecipio, donec Myrrha valida bona intentione hanc portam denuo aperire conetur. Sigillum!"
(By the power bestowed upon me, the heir and ruler of this kingdom, I command all the forces of nature to seal this gate until such time a powerful myrrh in good intention attempts to open this gate again.)
A powerful light engulfs the archway. Instead of the scarlet eternal fire, a billowing emerald one starts to consume what remains of the destroyed archway. Her left arm is starting to get weak that it made her kneel to the ground while the gate is not fully sealed. Chaeyoung cannot take any more chances. This is not going out in the outside world. She has promised her father.
Her father.
Chaeyoung screamed at the top of her lungs at the thought of her father and mother. She will find out who started all this and she promise to her parent's grave that every single one involved is going to pay a heavy price for taking away almost everything from her.
"Chaeyoung, no!" She heard Ji-young shouted again just before the gate completely closed. Chaeyoung dropped her arms to her side and started to cry. Though she immediately transformed to her disguise as she was alone now in the mortal world. Alone for now but not for long.
She knows a very powerful Myrrh who could possibly open the gate again and she trust that she'll know what to do.
