sooooooo, as probably nobody knows and cares, ive snuck my way back into Parappa the Rapper. doesnt make it any better thanks to a friend i have the original game on my tablet, and im rewatching the anime!

im thinking back to 2021 or 2020, i was mindlessly scrolling youtube, and the playthrough kept on popping up in my recommendation. a few days before, i was like "meh, if i cant find anything else to watch, ill watch this playthrough." lo and behold, i didnt find anything else to watch, so i sat on the couch and had it playing on my phone. i ended up falling in love with the music and paper thin design, much of course the main character bc dog!!!
as soon as i finished the second one (wrong order but thats how it popped up for me) i went onto the first, then um jammer lammy, and the chinese video where two drunk guys played the game! didnt take long for me to tell my brother, ask my sister, inform my mom, and rant to my friends about how awesome the games were, and how bad i wanted them someday!
i began cosplaying him on tiktok, just a few times not more than thrice probably (my Kenny Mccormick cosplays went on longer and was...probably way worse.) that was a hard time. i didnt have an orange beanie, so i pretended to be blue hat hardcore parappa, its all i had, and i destroyed a dog stuffed animal for the ears. (dw i had two, they both went painfully but theyre together) i even went as far as drawing him over my light switch peeking out! i dont remember the exact picture that inspired me, nor do i, of course have the picture, but he was kinda standing or half of him was out like this:

sad part is, i dont think that black paint completely came off, nor did i remove him....whoopsie!!
during my biggest amino years, where my sally face addiction also reached its peak, i began playing as him in roleplays, i got into a few ships (,,,pj and parappa, guru ant and takoyama still, uhh thats it), i found tons of pictures perfect for pfps and wallpapers, etc! a random person found my profile, all parappa glammed up, themselves a parappa fan (more of an um jammer lammy one but besides the point), and thats when we became good friends. ive mentioned before about them, and that playing as parappa is where i got my nickname Softy from!
then oh my god..all the fanart i did!! i swear my old notebooks are full of him!! right now my recent notebook is kinda everything, tons of Exociety, but could NEVER match up with past parappa addict's notebook. i think i painted him as a human like once and i was so proud, sucks i dont have the pictures.
then once i saw the anime for the first time, i became rehooked and obsessed. its just the cutest, i cant help it! thinking back to the anime, im sad i cant find the Pj Berri no Mogu Mogu Munya Munya (Pj Berri's Munching Mumbling) anime!! i just found out the name though-
