The Auror Office wasted no time in taking advantage of the permission given to them by Bartemius Crouch Snr. They began to use the Unforgivable Curses on Death Eaters without warning, capturing and imprisoning them or, in some cases, killing them on the spot.
The Death Eaters were taken aback by the sudden change in tactics. They had grown accustomed to fighting the aurors using their own brand of ruthless violence and had never imagined that the aurors would be willing to stoop to their level.
But the aurors were relentless, and within a few weeks, they had already captured several high-ranking Death Eaters. The Ministry of Magic rejoiced at the news and Crouch's decision to give the aurors permission to use the Unforgivable Curses was hailed as a stroke of genius.
However, the Death Eaters were not going to sit idly by and let themselves be hunted down like animals. They regrouped and retaliated with a ferocity that caught the aurors off-guard.
Voldemort sat at the head of a long table in the grand chamber of the Ministry of Magic, flanked by his most loyal and trusted Death Eaters. The air was thick with tension, and everyone present knew that they were there for a serious purpose.
"My loyal followers," Voldemort began, his voice ringing out across the silent room. "We are at war, and we are winning. But we must not rest on our laurels. We must continue to strike at the heart of the Ministry, to sow chaos and confusion wherever we can."
The Death Eaters nodded in agreement, their faces twisted in malicious grins.
"Our greatest weapon, of course, is the Killing Curse," Voldemort continued. "It is a spell of incredible power, capable of striking down even the most powerful of wizards. But it is not enough to simply cast the curse. We must learn to use it with precision and skill, to strike at our enemies where they least expect it."
He gestured to a group of Death Eaters standing at the back of the room.
"Step forward," he commanded. "Show us what you can do."
The Death Eaters advanced, their wands held out in front of them. They began to chant in unison, their voices rising to a fever pitch. Suddenly, bolts of green light shot out from their wands, striking the wall behind Voldemort with a deafening roar.
The Dark Lord smiled, his eyes glinting with approval.
"Excellent," he said. "But we must be careful. The Killing Curse is a dangerous and unpredictable spell. It can backfire, causing terrible harm to the caster. We must be sure to use it only when absolutely necessary, and with the utmost care and precision."
The Death Eaters nodded in agreement, their faces twisted in a mixture of excitement and fear.
"Remember," Voldemort said, rising to his feet. "We are the chosen ones, the elite of the wizarding world. We have been given a great gift, and it is our duty to use it to bring about the triumph of our cause."
With a wave of his wand, he dismissed the Death Eaters, sending them off to carry out his orders. As they filed out of the chamber, Voldemort remained behind, lost in thought.
He knew that the road ahead would be long and difficult, but he was confident that he had the power, the cunning, and the ruthlessness to see it through to the bitter end. The first Wizarding War was far from over, but he was determined to emerge victorious, no matter what the cost.
In the wake of the successful takeover of several Ministries of Magic across the globe, Voldemort had set his sights on the last remaining targets: Brazil and New Zealand. His Death Eaters, emboldened by their previous victories, were eager to carry out their Dark Lord's orders.
But as they made their move on the Brazilian Ministry, they were met with fierce resistance from a united force of aurors from around the world. Spells flew through the air, and the Death Eaters found themselves outnumbered and outmatched.
Despite their best efforts, they were unable to breach the defenses of the Brazilian Ministry, and one by one, they fell to the combined might of the aurors. Spells struck Death Eaters down left and right, and screams of pain echoed through the halls of the Ministry.
In the end, only a handful of Death Eaters managed to escape, fleeing back to Voldemort with tales of defeat and loss.
But the Dark Lord was not deterred. He still had his sights set on New Zealand, and he was determined to take the Ministry there by any means necessary.
However, the aurors had learned from their experience in Brazil. They had strengthened their defenses and were better prepared for the onslaught of Death Eaters that arrived at their doorstep.
Battles raged across the streets of Wellington as the two sides clashed. The Death Eaters fought with reckless abandon, unleashing the full power of their Dark magic upon the aurors.
But despite their best efforts, they were unable to gain the upper hand. The aurors fought with valor and determination, and one by one, the Death Eaters fell to their spells.
In the end, only a handful of Death Eaters managed to escape, fleeing back to Voldemort once again with tales of defeat and loss.
Though the battle had been won, the aurors knew that the war was far from over. Voldemort and his minions still lurked in the shadows, waiting for their chance to strike again. But they were determined to stand strong against the Dark Lord's tyranny, and they would do whatever it takes to keep their world safe from his reign of terror.
