You didn't see Dabi for a week and a half after that, you didn't care too much. You went about your days and eventually returned to work. Though you couldn't help but wonder what Dabi might have been doing. You tried your hardest not to think about him, but that argument you two had...He needed time to think. But in that time, you had some time to think yourself. You went to visit your mother's grave again, you talked with her for a while before eventually bringing up a question you never thought you'd had to ask.
"Would you forgive him?" You ask, referring to Dabi. "Or any villain at that? I know you'd probably say yes but, why? It's only getting harder and harder for me to keep this kindness thing going. With him at that is...I just, don't know what to do anymore." You exhale before leaving the flowers you bought on her grave. "I wish you were here. Bye mom...until next time." You say before walking away.
You took the train back to your new home since your mother's grave was too far of a walk back. Once you approached your door, you noticed it was unlocked. Before your mind could start racing with panic, you remembered just who you were living with.
'So, you're back huh?' You thought as you took a deep breath before walking inside. Thankfully Dabi wasn't in the living room. You figured he was in his own room then. Fine by you, you weren't sure if you wanted to see him right now. You stepped into the kitchen and made yourself a snack before heading back to the couch. You turned on the TV and watched as you ate.
Hours had passed, and you ended up falling asleep on the couch. You were awoken by footsteps approaching you. Tiredly, you raise yourself to a sit and looked at the last person you wanted to see right now. Dabi. Looked a wreck, and you could smell a hint of alcohol coming off of him. You were both silent, unsure of what to say.
"So..." You were the one who started. "You came back? Thought you were actually done with me this time."
Dabi didn't say anything, he just, sat down next to you. You raised an eyebrow, but shrugged it off and returned your attention back to the TV. It was playing some dumb commercial about the newest cleaning product, sure to change your life! You normally would have laughed at the overly dramatized way the actors would behave after using said product. But, you weren't sure that would be appropriate right now.
You glanced at Dabi, his brows were furrowed as if he were in deep thought. "Something on your mind?" You ask. Dabi finally speaks to you. "Yeah...You could say that." You turn down the volume on the TV. "Wanna get it off your chest?"
"You sure are being nice to the person who made you cry." Dabi says as he looks at you. You just shrug. "I made myself cry. I won't be crying over you anytime soon. Just tell me what you're thinking about."
Dabi sighs heavily, raking a hand through his black spiked hair. "It Shigaraki." You flinch at the name. The feeling of his hand on your throat returned to you, the thought of him actually killing you made your gut wretch. "What about him?" You ask.
"He wants me to bring you in."

You couldn't believe you were actually doing this. You were quite literally walking to your own death. Though Dabi assured you that you wouldn't be dying tonight. In fact, quite the opposite. Shigaraki wanted you for a reason, and that wasn't to kill you. As you approached the door to the bar, your mind went back to the conversation you had with Dabi ealier.
"No! Fuck No! I am not going anywhere near that place!" You yell, heart beating out of your chest. Dabi would actually do this would he? He would force you to go with him to that awful place, would he? "Listen Y/n-"
"No you listen!" You cut him off. "Shigaraki tried to kill me, or did you forget!? You can threaten me all you want, but I am not going there! You can't make me go back there!"
"I don't have a choice. If I don't bring you, he'll come get you himself. And trust me, we both don't want that."
What did he mean by that? You didn't have time to question it. "Dabi please." Your voice broke. "Don't make me go back there." You could have sworn you saw Dabi wince. But his expression remained stone cold. "You don't have much of a choice." You couldn't believe this, you were really being forced into your death. Your heart was beating so hard and fast, your chest ached. Dabi sighed again. "I'll be there with you."
"What?"
"I said I'll be there with you. I said I would burn him if he tried anything like what happened last time, didn't I?" You gave it some thought, he really did say that. But would he mean it if it really came down to it?
"You promise?"
Dabi nods. "I promise. Now, let's get going." You blinked in surprise. "Right now?"
"Yeah right now, he'll be coming himself if we don't get a move on." Dabi tells you. You hesitate, Dabi noticed. He made you look at him. "I'll protect you. Is that what you want to hear?" You swallow a large lump in your throat. "Yeah..."
"Ok then. I'll protect you. Now let's go."
Your gut wretched again as Dabi opened the door. All eyes were on you as you both entered. Shigaraki was the first to speak.
"Well look at that, Dabi actually did what he was told. I'm surprised." Dabi glared at the man. "Shut up, what do you want her for?" Dabi asked right away. Shigaraki put his hands up defensively. "Easy there, I already told you I wouldn't hurt her." His eyes landed on you, making you flinch. "You. Come here."
You look at Dabi, his eyes never left Shigaraki. You suddenly felt Dabi's hand on your shoulder, preventing you from moving. "Dabi, don't make me go back on my word." Shigaraki warned him. Hesitantly, and slowly, Dabi removed his hand. "Go." He told you. You slowly made your way over to Shigaraki, but you still kept your distance. "Come a little closer won't you?" Shigaraki moved his hand in a beckoning manor. You did as you were told and got closer, fearing what might happen if you didn't. Suddenly, he reached for you and pulled you in close by your waist.
You choked out a surprised gasp, you were frozen in terror. Shigaraki smirked at your reaction, he glanced over at Dabi. He was still glaring at him. "Huh, thought that would get a rise out of you." Shigaraki muttered. He turned his attention back to you. You cower under his gaze. "Looks like he really doesn't care about you after all."
You figured as much. Shigaraki let you go, much to your relief, before speaking again. "I bet you're wondering why I've summoned you here." You nod, still unable to speak. "It's simple really..."
"I want you to use your quirk for me."
