𝕋𝕨𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕪 𝕋𝕨𝕠

You would continue to be in and out of the League's hideout for the next few weeks. In this time, you've grown accustomed to each member of the league. You even made a mental list of who would be most likely to not kill you. Coming in dead fucking last was Shigiraki. If you so much as slipped up once, he'd dust you in a second flat. He's warned you, well, more like threatened you enough times for you to know. Next would be Toga. Though she compliments you, and even gives you friendly passes, she wouldn't miss the chance to stab you a few good times if she really wanted to. Thankfully Dabi was there to make sure that didn't happen.

Then came Spinner and Twice. Spinner, you didn't have much of an opinion of while Twice, you had a strong opinion of. Twice was...something, to say the least. You had no idea why he would always contradict himself, but you'd be lying if you said you didn't find it amusing at times. And then, there was Dabi. Yes, surprisingly the person who threatened to kill you first, wasn't the one who'd actually try and do it. If anything, Dabi was the one who was keeping you from harms way when it came to these people. Why? Beats the hell out of you. 

This time, you would be healing Toga. She had gotten herself real beat up during the last mission. It was nothing major, but you were there for a reason. She decided to make conversation with you while you healed her injuries. 

"What's it like being Dabi'ss girlfriend?" 

You paused your actions. "I'm not his girlfriend." You mutter before you continued healing her. "If you're not his girlfriend, then why do you let him stay with you so much?" She asks. You move to her arm, which was bruised and scraped. "Like how I'm being forced to heal you bunch, I'm being forced to house him." You explain. "I'm aware he has his own place but-"

"Where is it?" She asks excitedly. You give her a confused glance. "It's just that, Dabi is very secretive. No one knows anything about that guy other than his name. Which by the way, isn't even he real name." Toga explains. "So I'm curious, what's his place like? I bet it fits him perfectly, all emo and stuff." 

"Oh, I don't know about all that. All he told me is that he had a place to stay other than my home." You say as you finish healing her. "Don't get it confused, just because me and Dabi "live together" doesn't mean I know anything more about him than you guys do." Well, that wasn't entirely true. You were more than willing to met that Dabi didn't open up about his daddy issues to these people. 

Toga sighs. "Oh well. And you're not his girlfriend?" You nod. "Mhmm." Toga hums with a smirk. "Sure." She hops off the chair she was sitting on before skipping away. But before she left the room she turns to you. "Even if that were true, I still think you guys would be super cute!" With that, she walked away. You sigh heavily. What a day, you just wanted to go home already.

You heard footsteps coming from behind you, assuming it would be Dabi's. "Thank god, will you take me home? I'm getting pretty tired of your villainous friends."  You turn your head, seeing who it was you were really talking to. It wasn't Dabi. 

"Aw, you don't like us?" It was Shigaraki. Your heart dropped, had you known it would be this guy, you would have kept your mouth shut until you left. "And here I thought things were going smoothly" You remained silent, glancing behind him. Where was Dabi? He said earlier he had to step away for a minute. He said he would be quick, not wanting to leave you alone with Toga for too long. You'd prefer Toga over this guy any day. 

"Cat got your tongue?" Shigaraki asks. "No." You say under your breath. Shigaraki smirks. "You know, you had better get use to this. Because like it or not, you're basically one of us now." 

"What?" Your eyes widened slightly. "You heard me." Shigaraki took a few steps closer to you. "You've been aiding criminals for weeks. You think you aren't involved with what we do? Well you are. You may not do what we do, but you tend to us as soon as we're done doing it. How do you think this will look to the heroes?" He was but inches from you now. Your look of surprise turned into one of anger. 

"I am being forced to do this." You bitterly correct him. "You could say that in your defense, if you were to be caught...But do you think those heroes would care? Be honest." They would, wouldn't they? Surely if you explained the situation, they'd help you. Right? "They would." You tell him, which caused him to laugh. "How naive! Those heroes wouldn't give two shits. They'd just see someone who provided one of the most dangerous criminals in Japan medical aid. You'd be just as guilty as the rest of us." 

You didn't want to believe that. You wouldn't believe that. Sure, most heroes weren't as good as they seem, they were in it for the money and the fame. But they were still heroes, they're job is to protect those who are in danger. You were in danger every time you were around the league. You furrow your brows and glare deeply at Shigaraki, anger taken over any fear you had. "I were to go tell a hero I was being forced to do something against my will, they would help me." 

Shigaraki's smirk fell. "I dare you to try. Not only do you have no idea where our location is, but I'd kill you as soon as you did it. You don't have much of a chance. The best you could do is take Dabi down with you. Which has me asking, how come you haven't tried to turn him in?" 

"He'd kill me if I did." Was that true? Sure he's threatened to do so in the past, but since those first few days, Dabi hasn't threatened you much at all. Unlike before, he's let you leave the house without him multiple times. At any of those times, you could have turned him in. But what about what Shigaraki said? Would the heroes care? Would they just take you in as well? Dabi hasn't forced you to heal him much at all lately, you've been doing it all willingly. 

Would Dabi use that against you? 

"Would he?" Shigaraki chuckles. "What are you trying to say?" You ask. "Dabi has become quite...protective, of you lately." Before you could deny that, he continued. "Why do you think he kept your quirk a secret from me? Why do you think he doesn't want you around us at all if he can help it? Why is he keeping you safe from me?" 

"I...I don't-" 

"It's because he cares about you. I'd go as far to say he took a liking towards you. And that doesn't happen to a lot of people. Consider yourself special. I can understand why, to a certain degree." 

"And that is?" You press. Shigaraki looks you up and down. "You're pleasing to the eye. He might want to keep someone like you around for his personal needs. Or...Maybe he's grown soft. That hole where his heart is suppose to be, filled with nothing but you." You couldn't believe what he was saying to you right now. The idea that Dabi could actually care about you, even have some love towards you, was downright impossible. 

Dabi didn't care about you...But then again. Why did he keep your quirk a secret? Why did he want to keep you away from the league. Why did he not want Shigaraki knowing about you? 

"You look confused. Maybe bring this up with him, it might clear your head." Shigaraki turned away from you and headed for the door. Just as he went to open it, Dabi rushed in. He shot a look at Shigaraki before moving past him, and made his way to you. 

"Sorry that took so long." He apologized, then, he noticed to look on your face. "What?" He looked to you, then to Shigaraki. "What did you do to her?" 

"I didn't do anything. But I'm sure she has a few questions for you." He grinned before leaving. Dabi looked back to you. "What does he mean?" You looked at Dabi, you were unsure of what to say. 

"We need to talk."
