Kenzo glared at Dabi, slowly backing away from the bed. And with a bitter venom lacing his tone, he spoke. "Well, if it isn't one of the League Of Villains. Let me guess, the rest of you motherfuckers are here too, aren't ya?" Dabi ignored him, his eyes landing on you. You couldn't turn your head, but your tear filled eyes met his own. His anger only growing the more he looked at your state. "Hey! I'm talking to you asshole!" Kenzo yelled. Dabi looked at him. "And I'm ignoring you." His hand ignited in flames. "I always knew you were a scumbag. Is this what you do to all of the women who come to see you?"

Kenzo smirked. "What do you care? You're a villain too, we're scumbags all the same." Dabi held up his hand eyes narrowed. "I'm nothing like you." He says before shooting flames out towards Kenzo. He barely dodged before rushing towards Dabi, fingers outstretched, needles at the ready to inject him. "Let's see how you handle this!" Dabi moved out of the way, dodging each attempt to stab him. "I've had enough of this little dance." Dabi said lowly before grabbing Kenzo's wrist. Kenzo let out a yell as he felt his flesh being seared.

His whole arm became ingulfed with flames, Kenzo's cries only grew louder as the fire spread throughout his body. Dabi let him go and walked over to you, ignoring Kenzo's agonizing wails and flailing. He heard his body fall to ground, there, it was over. Dabi scooped you up into his arms and walked out of the room, stepping over Kenzo's fried body in the process. Dabi could hear him still trying to crawl his way to safety, but he knew he wouldn't make it far. No one he's ever burned had.

"Are you ok?" Dabi looked down at you. You look up at Dabi, the muscles in your jaw eventually gave out as well, so all you could do was pitifully whine. Dabi hated to hear it, he hated to see you like this. If only he had gotten her sooner...

While walking through the halls, Dabi ran into Shigaraki. "Oh, you found her." He muttered. "Where's Kenzo? Don't tell me you killed him."

"I burned him up pretty good, but he's still alive. For now. Do what you want with him." Dabi walked past Shigaraki. "Ah ah, your job isn't done yet. I need you to set this place ablaze. You know, to send a message. To not ever forget, the league is second to no one." Dabi looked over his shoulder. "You know how to start a fire don't you? Do it yourself." He continued walking, ignoring Shigaraki's calls for him. He'd deal with the consequences later.

Right now, all that mattered was getting you home.

Dabi walked you into your home, and lied you on the couch. You still couldn't move or speak, you could only blink. Which gave Dabi an idea. "One for yes, two for no. Alright?" He asked. You blinked once. "Good. Ok, now, is this permanent? The whole, not moving thing?" You blink twice. "Ok good." Dabi sighed. "It'll wear off soon, right?" Blink. Dabi nods. "He didn't hurt you did he?" Two blinks. "Did he touch you?" You stare at Dabi for a while...Blink. Dabi's brows furrowed. Now he wished he did kill him, and took his time doing it too.

"Do you...need anything?" Dabi asks. You blink. "Ok, um...do you need water?" Two blinks. "Alright, some food then?" Two blinks. "Uh...what then?" You just stare at him. Dabi sat down next to you on the ground. You blink. He gave you a confused look, you continue to stare at him. "What is it?"

You blink. "Yes? Yes what?" You blink again. "I don't know what you want Y/n." You blink again. Dabi was so confused, until he slowly put it together. "You want me to talk?" You blink. "Ok. I'll talk, if that's what you want. Is there anything I should talk about?" You blink twice. "Just talk?" You blink once. "Right...uh...Well, I bet you already know I don't like talking about myself. So, I'm gonna not do that right now. But, um, Shigaraki...is an asshole. I can't fucking stand that guy. It's like he's the world's most whiniest man child. If he doesn't get what he want's he throws a fit. Then he always has something to say about me, like I'm a fuck up or something. Which, isn't too far off, I mean...I kinda am, always have been so-"

You blink twice, making him stop. "You want me to stop?" You blink twice again. "Ok? Um, then there's Toga. She's as crazy as they come, which, I'm sure you already know that. She's took a few stabs at me before, but she's stop trying to do it as much lately. Probably cause I threatened to kill her crush if she keeps it up. Oh yeah, she has a crush on a wannabe hero. Like that's going to work out." He chuckles. "But, I just let her do her thing. If that involves falling in love with heroes, then so be it."

You stare at him, tears now gone from your eyes. This was helping, his voice was soothing to you. Especially after what just happened. You needed this. You wanted to forget what happened for a while. So you listen to Dabi ramble and vent a little for an hour or so, until finally you got some feeling back from the neck down to your waist.

"Dabi?"

Dabi shut his mouth and stared at you wide eyed. "Oh, you can talk again. Good. Can you move?" You shake your head. "I can only feel my waist up." You brought yourself to a sit, numb legs still outstretched in front of you. "But I think it's wearing off, I can feel a bit of tingles in  my legs."

"Ok, well at least you're getting somewhat better." Dabi sighs. "You want me to stop talking?"

"No, I think I want you to keep going." You say with a smile. "Come on, I'm running out of things to talk about." Dabi chuckles. "Then why not talk a little about yourself?" You ask. "I know you don't like to, but maybe just avoid talking about your past? Just tell me about you." Dabi thought about it for a minute. With a sigh he spoke. "Alright. But no past talk." You nod. "Sounds fine to me."

"Ok...this is hard." Dabi muttered, you giggle. "Come on, just tell me some things about you that I don't know. Like, what do you hate?"

"My leader. Long car rides, I get car sick easy. Fish."

"Fish huh? Good to know, I won't make any dishes that have fish in them. And I never took you as the type to get car sick." You smirk. "Shut it. It's only when other people drive. When I drive it's fine."

"Is that why you didn't let me drive when we moved?" You ask. "I guess." Dabi shrugs. You chuckle. "Hey, Dabi? Thanks."

"For what?" Dabi asks. "This is like, the third time you've saved me. For a villain that's pretty out of character." You say with a grin. Dabi tsked. "Whatever, don't get it twisted. I just so happen to be around whenever you get yourself into trouble."

"Yeah? Well, you didn't have to save me, but you did."

"I don't want Shigaraki all over my ass about letting someone useful die."

"Suuuure." You say before yawning. "Oh man, I'm exhausted. Tonight was...a lot." Dabi nods in agreement. "Think you can do another good deed and help me to bed?"

"I should just leave your ass here." Dabi scowls, making you laugh. He stood up and picked you up before walking to your room. As he walked, you couldn't help but think about what he said earlier.

"Like I'm a fuck up or something. Which, isn't too far off, I mean...I kinda am, always have been..."

"Dabi? You don't actually think you're a fuck up do you?" Dabi avoided your eyes, he walked into the bedroom and laid you down. "Night sweetheart."

"Dabi." You say more firmly. "You're not a fuck up." Dabi just stared at you, then cracked a smile. "Sure, if that's what you want to think about me." He turns and begins to walk out of the room. "You're not a fuck up Dabi. Seriously, I mean it."

Dabi said nothing before shutting the door behind him. "If only you knew, sweetheart."
