Today i would be recruiting somebody in my café to give me a hand and I had about 50 people apply but you could tell most of the girls all wanted to be there because of One direction.
I was sitting at a table going through everyone's resumes when a young girl came up to and she wasn't american but she had an accent of some sort.
"Excuse me, are you Liliane?" I looked up from the mountain of pieces of paper I had and noticed a beautiful girl stood in front of me.
"Thats me, how can i help?"
"I was wondering if the job was still going?" She looked down at me, smiling and her eyes lit up. She seemed so polite that I wanted to hire her there and then without even knowing her properly.
"Uh yeah, would you like to take a seat?" I gestured to the seat in front of me and she took a seat there. I shuffled the papers out of my way and into a fairly neat pile before grabbing a pen and piece of paper. "What's your name love?"
"Lena." She smiled kindly as she fiddled with a loose hem on her shirt, nervously.
"Tell me a bit about yourself." I said rolling the pen between my thumb and forefinger, giving her a kind smile.
"I'm Lena and I'm 17 and I come from Egypt but I moved here a few months ago with my family and I absolutely love your bakery. I come in pretty much every day to get a coffee, wishing I could work here. I want to be in the fashion industry but i love to bake in my spare time. It seems like such a happy place. Plus, he's really cute." She giggled and pointed back at Jack who busy serving some customers at the till.
I giggled along with her as something about this girl made her really friendly. I could get along with her.
"Well, i'm afraid he's gay, but yes, he's adorable." I smiled. She laughed and blushed a little bit. "What do you think of One Direction?"
"I think they're amazing. I've been a fan for ages. I'm not a crazy fangirl though. Whys that?" She said, smiling.
"Well I'm dating Louis from One direction and they come in here, alot!" Her mouth dropped wide. " But if you can handle that. I'd love to offer you the job. I like you and i think you'll fit right in here."
"Oh my god! Thankyou! this is the best thing ever!" She said, getting up and pulling me into a hug.
"Come with me. I'll show you around." I showed her around, introducing her too Jack and they hit off really quickly. I was going to get along with this girl, she wasn't much younger than me which helped a lot.
My phone began to rang. I pulled it not recognising the number but answering anyway.
"Hello, Liliane speaking."
"Why hello Liliane, This is Louis speaking." I chuckled at Louis reaction to my phone voice.
"Whose phone are you on you donut?" I was still laughing at his silliness and i could feel his smile radiating through the phone.
"It's Paul's phone, I dropped mine down the toilet." He sighed.
"Y-you di-didn't?" I stuttered through my tears of laughter. When he didn't reply and I'd finally calmed down I carried on. "I'm sorry, what's up?"
"Thats it laugh it all out." He mumbled, but i could tell he was smiling.
"Aw, i'm sorry." I smiled at his reaction. "What is it anyway Louis?"
"I'm picking you up at the café at 4. You're coming MSG tonight with us. Okay?" He said, confidently like he new I wouldn't deny his request.
"ah, i don't think i can Louis. I got a date tonight." I was grinning, trying to hold my laughter in again.
