I fell back on to the sofa as the rest of the family had disappeared and it was nearing the end of the day which i would of thought could never of happened which was saying bye to my father. Louis had disappeared because he said I needed to spend some time with my nan but I hadn't really seen her. I'd spent most of it outside, drinking which i know shouldn't of done, I mean I definately shouldn't of been drinking but luckily it was only a few. Chris was mingling with the family and I just wanted to be by myself.

As i sat on the sofa, somebody sat next to me and put there arm round me and I looked over to them too see my nan smiling at me.

"I have to leave in 2 days nan." I said resting my head on her shoulder.

"I know, i know you have a life to get one with and you don't realize how proud of you we are." I smiled, as she kissed the top of my head and somebody lightly knocked on the door frame, making me and my Nan look up at the door. Louis was stood in the door way with a small smile on his face.

"Uh, Chris let me in." He said, shuffling in and I stood up, walking over to him, wrapping my arms around his torso and crushing him. He held me tight and i heard my Nan uncomfortably cough and I chuckled slightly, before releasing myself from his grip.

"Nan, meet Louis." I said as Louis walked over to her and held his hand out, she kindly smiled and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Louis." She said, smiling at him then at me.

"Is it okay if i have a minute with Liliane?" She said, looking at Louis and he nodded, before walking up to me, kissing me on the forehead and walking out of the room whilst shutting the door behind him.

"Whats wrong nan?" I said sitting in the chair, across from her and she patted the space next to her, motioning for me to sit next to her, i stood up and shuffled to sit next to her.

"I have something for you. You do not realize how much you remind me of your mum, you look just like her." She began to choke up. "I disbelieved you and i shouldn't have. I'm sorry for everything you went through. Your grandddad was distraught when you went. He told me to give you this." She held out my grandads ring, his ring that he wore for all the years i new him and I always pestered him when i was younger, saying that it was going to mine. I felt the tears falling down my cheeks as I looked over to her.

"Thank you but i can't take that, Nan." I mumbled, quietly.

"Yes, he wanted you to have, take it and wear it with pride, either around your neck or on your finger." She said, rapping my fingers in hers with the ring in the middle. I pulled her in for a hug.

"I love you so much!" I said, kissing her on the cheek and I let slip a yawn and she yawned after me.

She began to giggle which caused me to giggle with her. I slipped the ring on the my middle finger and it fit perfectly, like a glove. I ran my finger over it before giving my nan a quick kiss as I stood up.

"I'm just going to go outside and then go to bed, night." I said and I turned away.

"They'll all be proud of you." She said smiling at me.

"You too, Nan." I said as i opened the door and walking through it. I took a deep breath and turned to go outside.

Once I got outside, the cool breeze nipping at my sock-less feet. I smiled and looked up at the starry night sky. I walked over to the hill bit at the back of the garden, which faced the house but it was accessible for me too look at the sky.

I was looking out of the window when i saw Lil walk across the garden and lay on the hill and she was talking but to who i don't know, she was looking up at the sky and she spotted me and i waved slightly, she motioned for me to come down stairs, i pulled the blanket from her bed and made my way to the garden.
