TWENTY

Louis

I sat in the restaurant with the boys when a waitress walked over to me. Grabbing my attention as she bet down beside me.

"Mr Tomlinson, you need to see this." I stood up and followed her to the back room assuming it was there staff room, the television was on and the news was playing.

The headlines rolled past, which made me catch my breath.

'LOUIS TOMLINSON' GIRLFRIENDS BAKERY, UP IN FLAMES!'

I walked out of the room dialling Liliane's number. No answer.

"Boys i got to go!" i said, in a panic, pulling my jacket from the back of my chair, throwing it over my shoulders.

"Woah, calm down, whats happened?" Liam asked, sensing my state.

"Lils bakery is on fire." I spluttered out through a few short breaths. They all stood up and wee quickly paid, making our way too the bakery.

We got there and the fire was out but it was all in ruins. Lil must be absolutely devastated.

What was she going to do?

I sighed and Harry rubbed my shoulder, trying to comfort me.

"Where is she man?" I whispered as i tried to see over the crowd of people around.

"I don't know Lou." Harry spoke softly.

"LOUIS!" I heard that very familiar voice and I turned round to see Liliane running towards m and I embraced her in a tight hug.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She was sobbing in my chest.

"I'm not hurt, i saw it on the news and they think its arson. Who would do this? I've never hurt anybody!" She sobbed a bit harder. I rubbed her hair, trying to calm her down.

Perrie walked over to me and hugged her from behind, she spun round and gave her a big hug. I sighed, rubbing my hands down my face, rubbing my temples.

"Come on, lets get you home." I said as i pulled her into my embrace and she shook her head.

"I'm not going home, not alone." She said, worry deep in her voice.

"I'll stay with you, I'll grab some stuff from the hotel. Come on."

I took her by the hand and took her to her car, I climbed in the drivers seat and we drove to the hotel. I picked up a few belongings and we made our way to Lils apartment. We got there and Lil went straight to the sofa, sobbing. Molly curling up to her. I walked over too her, bent down beside her.

"Anything i can do for you baby?" I whispered and she shook her head. She moved over slightly, I slipped my shoes off and laid next to her, pulling her into my embrace.

"That was my life Louis." She mumbled, once she'd calmed down.

"I know, we'll sort it out." I replied quietly, I didn't really know what to say to her. What do you say to someone who just literally saw there world burn the floor?

"What am i going to do? I have nothing, my bakery is gone, it was the only thing i lived for." It hurt a little bit to know she said that but I new what she meant. "Other than you."

"We'll figure it out baby. Get some rest." I mumbled as i kissed the top of her head and I finally heard her heavily breathing. I laid in the dark, thinking about her future and how I could be of any help.

Liliane

I woke up from the warmth of Louis around me and it must have been early hours of the morning, the sun was finally creeping through the curtains. I laid in Louis arms, remembering the events of yesterday and how my life just burnt down and how much it was about to drastically change. I wasn't going to let this hurt me, I may have lost my beautiful bakery but I will not let this hurt me more that it should be let, I will not let those scum hurt me.

My door bell rang not long after i had woken up. What was the time? I looked at the clock 8am. Later than i thought actually. I crept out of Louis arms, causing him too groan in his sleep. I silently stepped out of the room and answered the door where I was greeted by two very smart policemen.

"Come in." I said as i moved out of the door and Molly ran up to them where she started barking at them both.

"Shh molly. Louis' still sleeping." I said as i picked her up and carried her through to the kitchen with, the policemen followed me.

"Sorry it's so early." One apologised and I shook my head.

"No bother, is there any news?" I said putting Molly on the floor and taking a seat at the counter.

"We've arrested somebody, who we caught on CCTV but they have no connection with you or Mr Tomlinson. It was just a pointless attack. We're so very sorry." I shook my head feeling my eyes stinging. Somebody gripped my shoulders, causing me to jump a little and I looked round too see Louis standing there. He kissed the top of my head.

"We're very sorry ma'am but we have to get going." I shook there hands and showed them out of the door. I walked back in to the kitchen.

"DID YOU FUCKING HEAR THAT?" I shouted, my arms flailing around my head in anger. Louis spun round on his heels, wide eye'd. Molly flinched a little bit.

"A pointless attack, I wouldn't do anything to anybody and they attack my bakery, fuckers." I said as i sat back down, resting my head on my arms and Louis slung his arm around my shoulder.

"Come on, lets have a movie day." He pulled me in to the living room where we sat with all kinds of goodies, treats, fatty foods and watched every genre of movie.
