Jay POV:

I walked down the stairs and there was a letter addressed to Tom on the kitchen table. I recognised the handwriting. It was Jess. Jess's handwriting. "Tom!" I yelled up the stairs. No sound back. "Tom get down here!" I shouted again. Still nothing. I grabbed the letter and ran up to Tom's room and threw open the door. He was asleep. Typical. "Tom wake up." I said jumping on the bed to wake him up. His eyes opened and he looked angry. "what?!" he said angrily. I showed him the letter. "What?" he said again."It's from Jess." I said and he snatched the letter out of my hand. He read it and you could see the emotions change across his face. He folded it up and looked at me scared. "What is it?" I said and he passed me the letter and I read it...

Dear Tom,

You'll find out why I had to leave with that man at the hospital soon. It's hard to explain but I will tell you but not now.When I tell you however you will have to trust me. I know it will be hard and you will not believe me but I hope one day you will understand why I had to leave with him.
