Tom POV:

Something wasn't right. I'm sure I looked at the clock ten minutes before we noticed the fire. "Tom move!" Max shouted pulling me away from the fire. I ran to the front of everyone. "Right. Everyone leave now. Run. Run outside now. Go!" I shouted and watched them run around like headless chickens. I counted 9 people running out the door. Wait. 9. There was 11 people including me. Max, Nina, Jay, Sara, Jess, Siva, Zoe, Becky and Scooter ran out the door. That was defiantly 9. "Where is Nathan?" I shouted but everyone was already downstairs. "Tom." I heard and span round. Nathan was standing there trapped. "Nath'!" I said and ran over to him. "What happened?" Nathan was stood in the recording booth just like he did in one of my dreams... "I will get you out of here don't even tell me to leave because I know you will." I watched as Nathan smiled and signalled me to get the key as when the door closes you can only unlock it from the outside. I rummaged round the room. Please don't have the key Becky. Please don't have the key. A huge weight fell from my chest, the key was there on the side. I grabbed it and ran towards the door aware I was starting to feel ill from the smoke and fire. I threw the door open and Nathan ran out pulling me through the door. "We need to go down the stairs now. Come on Tom!" Nathan said dragging me down the stairs.

I felt a sudden numbness over my body, "Tom. You can do it." The girl with the red hair said in front of me. "Just get down the stairs." She said and smiled with tears in her eyes. "I love you." She said and I knew I had to get down but I couldn't open my eyes. I tried so hard but I just couldn't do it. "Please." The girl with the red hair said.

"Tom!", "Nathan!", "Oh god.", "Call an ambulance!" Voices surrounded me and I still couldn't open my eyes.

"Listen, Tom, I know you cam hear me. I just want to say, wake up. Or else I could have left you up there. Your heavy!" A man said.

"Nathan! Don't say that!" A woman said and I recognised her voice instantly. Jess. I would open my eyes I would. "Sir, Miss, we are here can you please stay here whilst we take Mr Parker inside. Its possible the Police will talk to you Mr Sykes and... sorry I didn't catch your name." someone said who I didn't recognise,

"I'm... Jess, Tom's girlfriend." Jess said and I smiled.

"Ah ok Jess and Mr Sykes, the police may be here to talk to you as the fire was started on purpose." The man said again and then it all went quiet.

"Tom?" Jess said and my eyes began to open.

"I missed you" I croaked.

"Stop being dramatic. You've only been out for half an hour!" Jess said laughing. I smiled and gave her a huge hug. "It might be a bit random but, girl with the red hair will you marry me?" I said smiling. And Jess nodded. Finally something in my life was complete. Love.
