I wore dark blue skinny jeans and a My Chemical Romance jumper. I'd left my hair out, spraying it a little with some hair spray and scrunching it up at certain place to give it a rusty look. I'd put eyeliner and mascara on, and wore the perfume Wonderstruck Enchanted by Taylor Swift. The scent kind of reminded me of candy and when I was really small and summer days out with my family and more candy and did I mention candy?
I shoved the essentials into my pocket: mascara, eyeliner, my phone, my purse (just in case I need money or a Typo gift card) and some gum.
I looked at myself in the mirror, without that much make up on I didn't really look that bad. I smiled at myself in the mirror.I had gotten a text from Sadie yesterday after school. She told me Angelo would be picking me up, so I texted her back my address so she could tell the boy.
I thought it was a good idea to try and explain what really happened with Callum. There would be loads of people there, right? I'll just make an announcement that it isn't true.
I don't care to admit this out loud, but I'm also partly because I want to annoy Vegas and see what his house looks like.I walked downstairs and slipped my feet into black Vans. I noticed Raymond was in the room, so I said hi.
"Where are you going?" He asked me."A party." I answered, jumping onto the couch and feeling myself sink in.
He knitted his eyebrows. "A party?"
"Yeah, Ray." I say quietly, closing my eyes. "It's what some people do to relax and have fun."
"I just didn't expect you to be going to a party after..." He trailed off.
"After what happened to me?" I shook my head. "Especially now, I need to relax. Plus, maybe I can convince some of the people there that I didn't actually do it."
He smiled. "Have fun, then." He said. Then he walked over to the fridge and started shaking the Sprite and Solo cans again, then putting them back in the fridge. I sighed and turned on the TV, waiting to be picked up by Angelo.
He came at precisely 8:42, which was 12 minutes after he said he would arrive. I didn't really care, though. I said bye to Ray and told him to tell Tyler, who was out with friends.
I climbed into the front seat of Angelo's black 1965 Shevi Impala.
"Wasn't this Dean's car in Supernatural?" I asked him as soon as I climbed into the car.He scoffed "that was the 67 Shevi Impala. I wanted to buy that one, but this was what I could manage."
"It's pretty close, I'll admit." I said, eyeing the cars beauty.
He chuckled. "If you say so."
We drove in silence, passing about two suburbs until I asked him if we were picking anyone else up. He shook his head. "This is it." He said, climbing out of the car. I got out and shut the door and scanned the house. It was pretty ordinary. A two story house with shrubs and small, human sized trees. There weren't any other cars here, which I thought was weird. Isn't this a party? Although maybe we came early.
It was hard to imagine Vegas living here, though I barely did know him. I didn't really know anyone here. It all happened... so fast
I checked my phone. It was now 8:55. Before knocking on the door, Angelo looked at me. He was several centimetres shorter than me (the giant I am), but his complexion was older. "Thanks." He muttered.I furrowed my eyebrows. "For what?" I asked.
"For standing up for me at the locker bay. That was really nice of you." He looked down and opened the door without knocking it or anything.
