Although the past few weeks have been really good to me, I have quickly realised that I'm not the same person. Being with Travis has allowed me to tap into that softer side and see life for what it truly has to offer.
I've started going on thirty minute morning walks around my property and just taking time to just appreciate everything that I have. Once I'm done with my walk, I'll usually make myself an iced coffee or a smoothie then sit by the pool while journaling.
There was so much that I wanted to do in life but didn't because I got hooked on the fast lifestyle which ultimately trapped me in that instagram model category. Despite what people think of the title, there aren't many opportunities for you because people only see you for your body.
Amerie and Sofia's lives have changed drastically in ways that I don't see myself going yet. They're mothers and wives now to men who they adore whereas I've now entered into my first real relationship with a man who I would love to spend the rest of my life with. The girls relate on so much because they are going through similar things so I often feel left out which is why I decided to reach out to my friends that I abandoned.
"I'm about to take a video." Gabi announces as she lifts her phone up once we have our iced coffee and I run a hand through my hair as she starts filming us. "The Beverly Hill bitches."
"90210 bitch for life." Tammy Antonio flicks her tongue out. "You know how we do it."
"That was so cringe." Bebe breaks out in laughter once Gabi has stopped filming. "It looked like you were trying to get gangster with it."
"You too white for that shit." Gabi states as she takes a selfie of herself. "I know you're light skin but you white to the world."
Tammy playfully rolls her eyes.
"Anyways, I called this brunch because I wanted us to reflect on this past year and celebrate our successes." I say while taking a sip of my iced latte. "Any achievement no matter how big or small is worth celebrating."
