Chapter 30 ~

Taylor's pov

"Bye, I'll see you guys in a few weeks," I said, waving at the girls as my family and I headed to the car.

Everyone had basically begun to get tired, so, my family and I decided to go ahead and leave the restaurant. Originally I was just gonna home by myself, but then my mom said that she was tired too. So she got Clare and Tyler and now we're going home.

All the moms had made reservations for us at this restaurant in town. It was actually pretty nice, and the part of the restaurant we were in was kind of sectioned off so there wasn't any disturbance. Only a few people were there, mainly just grown ups.

But that was almost a year ago since we've arrived back home. Its been raining a lot this week. It had rained that day too. I remember it was also the day that Thomas had opened the door for me and my mom.

**FLASHBACK**

"Thomas?" I gasped. "What are you doing here?"

I felt like crying, again. I had done that way too much, and in just a few months. I'd probably cried enough tears to end a drought.

Well, maybe I'm just exaggerating a little.

"I wanted to say that I'm sorry," he said, his eyes softening. He probably noticed the tears that had begun to form, but they weren't going to fall.

My mom clears her throat, "I think I'm going to, um, I'm going to give you two some alone time. Nice seeing you again, Thomas."

"You too, Sarah," he smiled, nodding at her.

"Please, call me Mrs. Brookes," she smiled back, as she walked passed us into the house.

I accidentally snorted when she said that.

I began walking in the house, too, but Thomas stopped me in my tracks.

"Here, let me take that for you," he kindly suggested.

"No thanks. I've got it." I pick my bag up and walked right passed him.

He follows me into my room and sits down on my bed.

"Did I say you were welcome to walk into my room, or sit on my bed? No."

"Hey, I'm sorry. Seriously. Can't we just put everything behind us?" He asked, standing up.

"And why would I do that?" I scoffed. I step back a little, he was walking toward me. Getting closer and closer, until he had me pinned against my own bedroom wall.

"So that I can do this..."

He leaned in, kissing me. Not softly, but harsh. Not passionately, but full of force. It didn't feel right, not one bit. But kissing Luke... That's what felt right. I got that tingly feel in my stomach when he kissed me that first time, but even though I've kissed Thomas multiple times, I haven't gotten that same feeling.

I pulled away from him, putting my hands on his chest. Thinking that would hold him off for a while.

He tried kissing me again, but I turned my face, and he ended up kissing my left cheek.
