Chapter 3: Change your Mind

So far everyone in the fatui are well aware of Scapino's recent determination to do their part and watching the trainees do combat training or workers preparing for their next mission.

And their recent efforts caused a segment of Dottore to be pulled into their shenanigans and was basically being held hostage in their room, forced to be apart of some mock meeting for a plan about getting ahold of...... something? The spy was uncertain of what they were planning since they wrote it on the chalkboard in stick figures.

But it was certain, Scapino wanted to be on a mission, in the past they avoided the topic using fake missions, basically using the moth for letter deliveries and other mundane tasks that included none of the stuff required to even call it a mission.

Yeah Scapino was unsatisfied after learning they were just doing chores, so they dropped the topic which was a relief, but now they seemed to be planning their own 'missions' without telling the harbingers since they knew too well what they'll do if they told them.

But that consequently meant neglecting their time with the harbingers much to the dismay it brought.

Literally Columbina was crying to herself when she learned that Scapino didn't trust her. (Tb fair it started with her to begin with 😒 )

Then Childe had to be a dumbo and ask if they could just give it a real mission, he was quickly silenced by the others who were quick to chastised him, Scaramouche had too much fun with that.

Meanwhile Scapino was having fun, having an 'assistant' was refreshing, listening to their plans and finally getting it, by which I mean seeing the importance of having a good thought out plan, and backup plans.

The segment honestly was just using this as an excuse to get out of work. (Lol-)

But now, Scapino was finally having a thought in their mind, they are apart of the fatui, the Tsaritsa and the harbingers never really let them out of this place, how can they even be apart of the fatui if they had never seen the outside world, or even Snezhnaya as a whole?

In Scapino's mind, it finally made sense, if they could get some experience in the real world, they surely would be recognized by the harbinger's eyes as finally becoming a more capable person that could lead a mission.

Scapino turned to the segment who was just sitting there just waiting on what Scapino was going to do now.

Scapino basically kicked the segment out of their room and locked the door, finally having a plan that was made for themselves and not for their fantasies.

The moth honked to itself as they grabbed a piece of chalk and began writing a lot of stuff down to make their little day out a reality.

And it seemed that Tonight was going to be a great time to sneak outside and see Snezhnaya's settlements.

After polishing their steps they turned the chalk board around to hide the suspicion and made a different drawing of them and their little meeting with the stuff animals.

After that they unlocked the door and just in time too because Alina opened the door to check in on the moth since Pierro ordered her to check up on Scapino to see if they were up to something and apparently they weren't, the animals were in their toy chest, everything was in place and Scapino was in bed sleeping, their golden glow moving as their chest rose up and down.

Alina sighed in relief after approaching them and double checking that they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary.

After closing the door, Scapino waited for a few minutes, before seeing that her candle light fully disappeared.
