Chapter 6: My fair Lady

The dragon roared as the team on the scarce stone floor, the dragon flew up into the air and swoop down to charge at them in the middle.

A black figure screamed as its singular glowing red eye surrounded the moth, charging but not before the moth flew out of its way in a short amount of time.

Like everyone was seeing through Scapino's memory, everyone got out of Dvalin's way, sweating like they had seen something from their nightmares.

Aether quickly regained himself before attacking Dvalin on his claws, Dvalin's mouth opened up to breath out an attack but not before Scapino quickly made a chair appear and threw it at Dvalin's eye, one of the chair legs hitting him first causing him to recoil from the pain.

Dvalin quickly turned to the moth, anger now evident, the moth flew away and Dvalin followed them like a hawk to a sparrow.

The moth took this opportunity to turn around and cling to Dvalin's tail.

Dvalin was now acting like a dog chasing its own tail while the moth waved its fist at him threateningly before throwing another chair at his face and taking the chance to climb up to his body and began to take out the purple crystal that was on his back.

The grip was desperate, just wanting to survive as the harsh sandy air that reeked of death pricked their skin as the dark dragon roared an inhumane screech as it flew around rapidly and irregularly, like a bull or a serpent trying desperately to wriggle out of its predator's claws.

The moth grabbed a stone jar out of thin air, and with all of their might they hit the blood clot again and again until it began to crack, the dragon was knocked out afterwards by the pain which gave the heroes the chance to help out the moth and use their ultimate moves at once.

Dvalin was knocked down and stone holdings were destroyed by Dvalin's weight, everyone was falling to the ground but they were saved by Dvalin.

"Wait! Where's Scapino?! They aren't even here!" Said Paimon as soon as she noticed their friend was not around.

Scapino was drifting off into a river by a small clump of wood and stone that drifted off into another nation.

A young man in green and purple was doing his daily routine before discovering Scapino's unconscious body floating down the river on a raft that seemed to be falling apart already.

The young man seemed reluctant to take this toddler sized creature before realizing smoke was coming from it, seeing more closely he noticed the humanoid's hand dipped into the water, the water fizzing as smoke drifted away in the opposite direction of where the river was heading.

The young man carefully scooped up the humanoid before quickly taking them away to the others, surely Cloud Retainer would know what to do with this humanoid.

Scapino woke up before standing up and looking up at the crane that was looking down on it.

"Conqueror of Demons, where did you say you found this child?" Asked Cloud Retainer, Scapino was not happy that the crane was ignoring their attempts to try and grab their attention.

"In Dihua Marsh, they aren't like any other mortal infant I have seen or even a spirit, I was wondering if you have any clue on what they even ar-??!" Said Xiao before he heard honking from the toddler sized creature looking like a baby throwing a tantrum and stomping their feet and trying to climb up the offending stone stairs that wasn't accommodating their size, before outright quitting and flying straight into the clouds, and then thrown out of the clouds while seeming like they are ready for anything.

Then the moth crashed into a pond, Xiao was quick to grab the moth by the scruff of their neck and place them back near Cloud Retainer who seemed interested that Xiao was already acting like an overprotective mother hen.

Even the moths honks sounded like a little chicks cheeps for attention.

The moth squirmed, trying to prove to Xiao that they were fine on their own but one glare from Xiao made them honk in aggression and on full out flailing, their kicks and punches barely making any difference to Xiao.

Like a chick going up against the Rooster.

Cloud Retainer chuckled internally, looking at how the moth already gone quiet when Xiao's arm was holding them at his hip, the moth crossed their arms in a fit, looking ready to smack him into next Sunday.

"So are you going to take this thing in or not?" Said Xiao as the Moth was held up like a kitten except that kitten was squirming out of his grip and honking like their was no tomorrow.

Meanwhile....

Capitano's senses were tingling, like something bad was happening.

As much as he wanted to go where his senses wanted him to, he had a lot of things on his plate already.

The moth was calmed down by cloud retainer already stuffing their mouths from the food that Cloud Retainer had made and was now currently feeding the moth affectionately.

"You know, you remind one a lot of Ganyu when she was only a toddler herself, she used to have the cutest face." Said Cloud Retainer as she began to tell stories about Ganyu's infancy and Shenhe's childhood.

The moth suddenly looked at a certain dish, golden crab, Cloud Retainer picked up the dish and set it close to the moth.

The moth tilted its head, suddenly remembering a creature looking similar to the dish, and all of the annoying times it chased them while trying to do their job.

Now fueled by small vendetta, the moth grabs a crab leg and bit into the meat before looking like they just found the secret to the universe before beginning to eat more of the crab to which Cloud Retainer looked pleasantly surprised.

"It seems that one have found your new favorite dish, golden crab." Said Cloud Retainer as she watched the moth drinking some water to wash away the food residue.

Cloud retainer grabbed a napkin and cleaned the moth's face of the food grease and bits.

"So, do you like the crab?" Asked Cloud Retainer.

The moth raised their fists in the air while honking, even doing a happy dance around the adeptus, the crane let out an entertained laugh before she began to lead the moth to her abode, wondering about what design the moth would most look their best in.

Meanwhile with Ganyu she froze up, feeling a disturbance in the air.

"Ganyu are you alright? Gggannnyyyuuu~?" Said one of the coworkers.
