Chapter 8: Memories of Old

The moth looked at the underground tunnel, it seemed to be freshly dug up, a golden glow radiated from a sealed entrance, the voice urged them to come closer.

As soon as they touched the entrance they felt something off, visions of broken memories, shards of the past, yet their was one memory clear as day.

Rex Lapis sealing Azhdaha away and the betrayal Azhdaha felt and the growing anger of being sealed away.

For a moment the angry almost made the moth pass out before giving the angry mountain dragon one of their more peaceful moments.

The moth looked confused when they encountered the rain, they were alone but they were determined to get the constellations of the forest.

But the first few times they tripped into the puddles, of course they cried in frustration until they were approached by a Veteran who looked like the forest elder with the hair and the mask, she let out an amused honk before opening a jellyfish umbrella.

The moth held her hand and the veteran guided them to the spirits and let them go and let the moth figure it out, after they were done the moth stood up in a confident manner and honked in appreciation at the veteran only for her to disappear.

Confused the moth cried out a few times before being distracted by the building's doorway and ran off.

For a moment Azhdaha's rage subsided for a moment, a calm huff was only heard.

"Go, I don't need you here anymore." Said Azhdaha.

The moth tilted their head before running off and flying back to find their friends.

"There you are Scapino! Traveler was going to come and find you! Not that Paimon was not worried about you!" Said Paimon as Scapino landed in front of them, they seemed to picked some Glaze Lilies.

Scapino honked at the trio, eager to go back to Liyue harbor, Aether quickly picked them up and the trio went back to Liyue to see that Fatui and Millelith were swarming around.

But then Aether was talking to Paimon, something about finding the fuse, and with that they left Scapino with Zhongli and gone off somewhere.

"I'm sure they will find the answer to this conflict, come now Scapino." Said Zhongli as he held out his hand.

Scapino turned to the direction of where the duo gone off before ultimately deciding that they would stay with Zhongli, besides they knew he was the real Geo Archon, they needed to get close in order to get the gnosis, for the Tsaritsa!

They cling to Zhongli's arm as he carried them to the funeral parlor where Hu Tao looked happy but very displeased with the disrespect at the front gates.

"Like I said- oooo! Zhongli thank goodness you are here! Hey there little guy, are you liking your stay?" Asked Hu Tao as she ignored the trouble and cooing at Scapino who was honking at her in response.

The moth was put in the waiting room and watched as Hu Tao and Zhongli dealing with their problems, it was interesting to say the least.

CRACK!!!*

Thunder, what is going on? The moth looked outside to see rain and water serpent like creatures emerging from the water.

The moth quickly flew to the Jade Chamber and saw Aether talking with the adepti and the Liyue Qixing.

"Scapino?! What are you doing here? Paimon thought you were with Zhongli?!" Said Paimon, the moth honked back sassily as they held their hips.

"Hmp! A child should not be here." Said Xiao as he grabbed Scapino and forced them behind him.
