Akaia watched with a glare as her father stood before the clan. Silent tears drip down her face as her father is stripped of his position. Tarsem, a fellow peer of Akaia's stood beside him with a knife in hand.

Akaia stopped watching, as she couldn't physically watch any longer. This shouldn't be happening, they shouldn't have to leave because of the sky people. Rage begins bubbling inside Akaia. She kicked at the dirt on the ground in an attempt to distract herself from her thoughts and emotions.

She looks up as her father walks away from Tarsem sporting a fresh cut on his chest. He walks past his family and though the sea of Na'vi. Akaia and her siblings follow behind him as they pass through the sea of people. Tears drip off her face as she walks past students of hers. She struggles to control her emotions as they bow their heads to her, she offers them all one last smile as she follows her parents towards their already packed Ikrans.

Sar'zoo screeches at Akaia before rubbing his head into her stomach. The girl sighs patting his head. She watches as her siblings climb on top of their ikrans ready to leave.

"Akaia." The girl turns to see her grandmother. Akaia smiles before embracing her grandmother once more.

"I have brought you something my dear." Mo'at said with tears in her eyes. The Tsahìk handed Akaia a knife. Not just any knife but the one passed down her family for generations, the knife she was supposed to inherit when she became Olo'eykte.

Akaia let out a sob as she took the knife off her grandmother. The older woman reached out and hugged the sobbing girl.

"Do not cry my girl, you are strong, perhaps one of the strongest people I know. You would of made a great Olo'eykte but I believe Eywa has greater plans for you and one day, when we meet again I will bask in the stories that you will no doubt have to tell me." Mo'at pulled away from the hug and rested her forehead against the girls.

"Thank you for this grandmother, I will cherish it forever." The older women giggled before stepping away from Akaia.

"Now go, your family is waiting. Your destiny is waiting." Her grandmother winked at her before turning and walking back into the crowd of people.

Rubbing the tears off her face, Akaia climbs onto Sar'zoo. The girl makes eye contact with her father nodding, signaling that she is ready.

The family takes off, flying towards the ocean. Akaia watches as her siblings and mother look back towards the land. Akaia couldn't bring herself to look. She looks at her father instead who was already looking at her, he smiled sadly before looking away.

The girl sighs this is going to be a long flight.

They flew for a day straight through rough storms and high winds.

Akaia was exhausted and uncomfortable. She loves flying and she loves Sar'zoo but he wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing to sit on.

As they approached clear sky's and calm waters Akaia looked ahead as she could see the Metkayina village in the distance. The girl exhaled in anticipation as her family approached it.

Akaia's ears twitched as she heard a horn being blown signaling that they were arriving. Jake directed his family to a patch of sand large enough for them all to land.

Akaia landed Sar'zoo next to Lo'ak and his ikran. The girl dismounted Sar'zoo before stroking his head. The Ikran screeched as people began to surround them.

"Calm Sar'zoo, Calm." She whispered to him.

"Akaia come, follow." her dad said getting her attention as they walked away from the ikrans.
