The day Akaia was born was a day in which the Omatikaya clan rejoiced. Celebrations lasted weeks as the future Olo'eykte was celebrated throughout the clan.

The Celebration of new life after the destruction and pain that the past couple of years had brought the clan was refreshing.
Many believed that she was a sign that the suffering had ended and now new life could begin and prosper.

Jake and Neytiri were both in pure awe of their daughter, not only had she charmed their hearts but she had given their clan hope.

Neytiri claimed that her daughter would be a great warrior like her parents. The first time she held Akaia she envisioned all the things she wanted to teach and show her. All the stories that had been passed down her family line that she could tell her. Neytiri couldn't wait to teach her everything she knows.

Jake couldn't believe that anything could be so precious. His little girl. His daughter. Who would of thought he could create something so beautiful. The first time he laid his eyes on his daughter he swore that he will never let anything hurt her.

As Akaia grew up she was trained to be a great warrior. Her mother taught her everything she knew from archery to hand to hand combat. After the girl had completed her Rite of Passage she had passed on her knowledge to the youth of the clan, teaching them everything she knew and helping them complete their own Rites of Passage.

Her father let Akaia join in on many of his Olo'eyktan dutys, hoping to inspire and prepare the girl for the duties she will one day bare. The girl attended war council meetings where she offered her advice and opinions towards the elders and the warriors of the clan. She would often lead patrol parties to the perimeter of their base making sure nothing was out if the ordinary. After battle Akaia would aid the Tsahìk with the wounded helping her grandmother tend to each and every warrior.

At the ripe age of 18, Akaia was a strong and essential member of the clan. She was proud of her roles and so were her parents but perhaps Akaia's most important role was being an older sister to her siblings. Her siblings adored her just as she adored them. She would do anything for her family no matter the cost.
