Goenka House

Place: Udaipur, Rajasthan

A well-decorated room, big enough for two people. The love & care of the person clearly visible in every corner of the room who set this lovely room for her daughters. Perfectly suitable for teenage girls , covered with light pink color curtains & bedsheets. Two sides of the room are decorated differently according to the preferences of the two girls. One side is full of musical instruments & paintings of musical notes, whereas another side is with motivational quotes & lots of sheets with handwritten math formulas pasted all over the wall.

Akshu: Yaar Aaru yaar, please switch off the light, I want to sleep.

Aaru: Who sleeps at 7 PM? (while doing her homework).

Akshu: I... Any problem ...I must rest properly to get energy. Tomorrow is an inter-school music competition.

Aaru: Di...At least complete your homework. Mama will be angry if you go to sleep without having dinner.

Akshu: I don't have to attend class tomorrow, so there is no need to do homework. And don't call me Di. I am only 2 years older than you. Call me by my name.

Aaru: Ok .....Akshu ...Dii...(With a teasing smile)

Before another one could react .......

"Dinner ready" A lovely voice distracts them from their playful conversation.

Mumma.....Sirat Maa ..Both run.

(They enjoy their dinner while complaining to each other in front of their mother, who is also enjoying their innocence with a smile.)

Sarbodaya Orphanage

Place: Jaipur, Rajasthan

A long hall with 24 beds, which are covered with some old bedsheets (May be donated). The paint on the wall is already faded long ago, they are just standing there out of sympathy to protect these children. Even though it's only 8 PM, the lights are switched off according to the rule of the orphanage.

But in this darkness, a little ray of light is well enough to enlighten the life of these children, who are already asleep. But in a corner of this long hall, a small table lamp helps one of them to create his future.

"Are you still studying?", A middle-aged lady asked in a lower voice.

Abhi: Yes mam, Tomorrow is the last exam.

Lady: You are good at studies. You will definitely pass.

Abhi: Thank you

Lady: you should have eaten earlier instead of feeding others. You have limited time.

Abhi: It's ok, I have almost finished & I have to feed them, they are too small to eat by themselves.

Ok, go to sleep ...you have to get proper sleep for your exam. Good Night.

Good Night mam, (Continued his study)
