We Need To Talk

Like the past eight days, his eyes are searching for this one person. He has had a really tight schedule for the past few days & also same for Akshu. It was also one of the reasons they could not get time to talk. But he is free today & he managed to complete his other jobs by 4 so that he can save some time. So he waited outside one of the VIP's rooms for Akshu as per the detail leaked by Neil.

As expected she finally made her presence in front of him. Nirman & Nisha greets Abhi and makes their way & leave them alone. They know. Definitely, they know. Akshu is not that smart & Nisha is way more smart than normal. Nirman is always an observant.So, It is not difficult to guess. 

AK: Hey... Abhi...How are you?

AB: Are you really asking?

AK: I am fine.

AB: 😳😳 Akshu....

AK: Ahh..umm.. 

AB: We need to talk.

AK: Yes... but what?

AB: Even I don't know. But we need to...Right? 

AK: Hmm...

AB: At our usual place...Let me grab some coffee. Ok...( He heads towards canteen)

The rooftop of Birla Hospital

Akshu is sitting on the edge of the rooftop hanging her leg & humming some tune which she has no idea from which song. She is preparing her proper explanation to smooth the matter so that nobody will be hurt although she knows that there is no such option. Either one will be going to hurt anyway.

AB: Here, Your Cofee...

AK: Uhh... Thanks

She takes the coffee from him while Abhi takes his seat near her. They maintain silence for some moments while finishing half of their coffee.

AK: Actually .....I ..want...I did not want...(then she stops to take a sip from her coffee... )

AB: Whatever it is, I would like if it complete. Your broken sentence will give me a heart attack.

AK: What do you want me to say? I am completely blank now. It was so sudden.

AB: But that does not mean that you can avoid me like this. Who does this to her friends?

The surprised look of  Akshu made him realize that he can not use the word 'friend' anymore.

AB: I know, it is not the same as before.No matter what is your answer, it will be never the same as before. But still...I don't want to betray my feelings as well as you with my lie.

AK: Why? ... Why can't it be the same as before. It was so beautiful & comforting. ( She cut off him even without her conscious.)

That is the moment, He forgets what he is going to say. It's like he is stabbed by his own scalpal that made him unable to speak or no word is willing to come out of his mouth. Still without giving up...

AB: So, This is your answer. You want to be the same as before.

AK: Sorry....I...did..no...

AB: Hey, it's Ok. Don't be sorry. You have the right to say "NO". It should be totally your decision.  Don't worry...I...am..o...

AK: Shut up!..... Can you just shut your mouth for a moment which is uttering so many great (Mahan) words continuously...

That sudden strong voice which was trembling a while ago made him numb for a moment. Both the word & seriousness in her voice make his hand move toward his mouth so that he can't talk even if he wants.
