You Are Losing Her

It is been a month since that incident. Akshu comes to the Breakfast table and wishes good morning to everyone. Everyone is waiting for Swarna who is preparing Paratha for breakfast. After noticing it she just grabbed some slice of bread & butter. She takes some juice & starts her breakfast.

 It was like from that day. Earlier she used to talk a lot at the breakfast table in the hope to get close to them. She used to ask a lot of questions everyone especially Manish & Aarohi for only to get a Yes or No in return. But from that day she stopped trying. Maybe she realized that these are just her useless effort. Even though she succeeds to some extent, she knows one day that will go in vain. At some weak moments, they will still blame her. So she decided to make her strong enough to bear this rather than hoping to be in their good book.

Kairav: Akshu, Why are you eating Bread? Badi maa is making Paratha, Your favorite Gobi ka Paratha. Just wait a little.

Akshu: No Vai, I have a tight schedule today. And also I have to leave early due to my appointment with a broker.

Vansh: Broker? For what?

AKshu: Oh. That's... I am looking for an apartment near NGO.

Kairva: Apartment! But for whom?

Akshu: Obviously, For me? Nowadays we are getting more requests for our singing session. I am not able to get time for NGO. So it will be easy for me. ( She just blurts out these words while taking some juice in some casual manner. She is aware that it is not that casual but still tries to avoid others' expressions. It was like she just threw some bomb but she is still not ready to blast it.

Kairav: Akshu, What are you...

Akshu: Vai, I am really getting late...I have to go... I will explain later.

She went out hurriedly without giving a chance to anyone to react. She stopped halfway & looked back at everyone's shocked expression.

Akshu: Vai, Can you help me to find a good apartment...I am not that good at it...

(Before Kairav can answer anything, She ends her word.)

Akshu: OK, Vai...I will wait for you. Pick me up at 6 PM from the hospital.

Birla Hospital

Akshu comes to the general ward of the gynecology department with two cups of coffee & stops at the doorstep seeing Abhi busy with the patients. Abhi signs her to wait for two minutes with his finger. Previously they used to care about what others will think. Even though Abhi did not mind it but Akshu used to avoid people's attention to their relationship. But after that incident, he does not need to do it. Even though sometimes he can't believe this daring Akshu who now does not care for any gossip regarding them. It was already one month, and now everyone becomes habitual to it including them, even Aarohi.

Aarohi :(Looking at Akshu for some time) What are you doing here?  You left home in such a hurry ... 

Akshu: Ya, that's right, Nirman left suddenly for some emergency in his home, So we have to cancel our group session. So I got free earlier. I was going to but Abhi calls me to deliver some coffee for him...So I am here. Don't worry I will not disturb your image ...

AA: That's not the case...(Even if she is not interested in her personal matter,  she is not at all disturbed by her presence. at least from when she started avoiding her.She is going to ask about the apartment matter but got distracted by a baby who is continuously crying and worrying  her sick mother.)

Mother: She is crying continuously, doctor. My pregnancy was complicated. Is there any problem due to complications?

Abhi: (Signing Dr. Sanjana to check the baby) It is normal for a baby to cry. She is totally fine but not you. You are too weak & stressed. You have to recover soon. She will not survive without breastfeeding. I hope you understand.
