Natasha's POV

We're currently seated around the dinner table with the whole team, those moments are rare and I really enjoy them. Four huge pizza cartons in the middle of the table and everyone is chatting with someone- well expect my daughter, she's just sitting here in a grumpy mood eating her pizza quietly.

I don't know what's going on with her in the last couple of weeks because she won't talk to me, but something is somehow bothering her.

"I really miss this" I say as it has gotten a bit less noisy. "Mhm, me too" Clint mumbles as he stuffs another slice of pizza in his mouth

"But y'all know what would be even better" Tony starts and turns to y/n "If little missy here would say a word or two" "Shut up Tony!" she snaps "Y/n" I warn "What!?" she spats and throws her hands in the air

"Watch your tone, y/n" I urge, not wanting to fight again, especially when we're all together for the first time in a month "He provoked me!" she yells while jumping out of her chair "Cut the yelling" I tell her and raise my voice a little, but more like a warning not yelling.

"I did nothing wrong! Are you dumb or something!?"

"Alright, enough!" I yell and hop up. I hate yelling at her so now at the lastest everyone knows I'm angry "You do not talk to me this way!"

"Whatever, сука (bitch)" she practically screams at me

"Excuse me!?" I look at her dumbfounded

"I said 'Whatever, сука'" she yells

"наверх, живо! (Upstairs, now)" I shout, give her the scary mom look and point to the door. She groans loudly but turns around and sprints up the stairs. I flop back down in my seat with a sigh and take my pizza back up. The room is quiet, like quiet quiet.

"Well that was intense" Clint mocks "Shut it" I warn and take a bite. "Did she just call you a-" Bucky starts "Yes" I cut him off

An hour passed and I gave her and me some time to cool down after that outburst. Given the fact that y/n only ate one slice of pizza earlier I place another two on a plate to bring to her. I may be mad at her but I won't let her go to bed hungry- and I know my kid, she's always hungry, especially in the evening.

"Y/n, it's Мама, can I come in?" I ask as I knock on her door "Ugh, fine" she groans. I open the door and see her curled up under her covers with her laptop in her lap probably watching her favourite show or something.

"Brought you some pizza" I say approaching her "Thanks" she mumbles without taking her eyes of the screen or pausing whatever she's watching. "Can I sit?" I ask and gesture to the bed "Hm" she hums so I sit down.

As her eyes stay fixated on her laptop I slowly shut it close without taking my eyes of her.

"What's going on, huh?"

 "Nothing"

"Uh uh, don't do that, don't think I haven't noticed the change in you lately"

"It's nothing, I promise" Not convinced. Absolutely not convinced.

I lift her chin with two fingers so that her green orbs meet mine. "поговори со мной, детка (talk to me, baby)" I encourage and watch her eyes gloss over. "Эй, что случилось? (Hey, what's wrong?)" I ask and shuffle into bed next to her so that my back is resting against the headboard and her head is placed on my shoulder.

"ты любишь меня? (do you love me?)" she asks me a couple seconds later "What?" I ask, not really knowing why she would even ask something like that "Of course I do, you're the best thing in my life, детка" "Okay" she sniffles as silent tears continue to fall down her face.

"Y/n, you're scaring me, what is going on? You've not been yourself lately"

No answer.

"You know that you can always talk to me, right? I'm not here to judge, I'm here to help."

No answer.

"You don't feel safe telling me it, do you?" I ask carefully and she shrugs "Is it something about me?" she shrugs again. "Okay it is something about me" I state, reading my daughter like a book "Honey, please tell me what's bothering you"

Quietness.

"I miss you. This you." oh. "You're always working and stressed lately"

"Oh baby I'm so sorry" I whisper "I'm sorry I couldn't give you enough attention" "It's okay" she whimpers softly "No, no it's not, I was so occupied with my work that you had the feeling I didn't love you and so you acted out, and I didn't even notice" I say honestly and press a kiss on her head.

"How about I take a couple days off from work and we will cuddle and watch movies the whole day?" I ask and her face lights up "I would like that" she smiles

"Alright, let's do it. BUT if you ever call me a bitch again you're not gonna get away this easily" I say and tickle her sides.
