"You're the only one for me."
Shailene's POV~
False alarm. There is no bundle of joy on the way for us thank goodness! It's just time for Aunt Mary and Uncle Tom to arrive this time of the month.
In all honesty, I flipped on Theo for no reason. My mind was a mess, spoke for itself and was worried that he had found out what I had hidden from him. This guilt is eating me away, but I'll ignore it as much as I can.
Today we are meeting up with our wedding planner, Dawn Harris. She's such a sweetheart, trying to find us everything we want in our wedding. It's difficult, picking out food, songs, venues, flowers, and dresses!
"So have you decided on a dress color for the bridesmaid?" Theo asks, dressing Luna up in a white sundress and a little bow.
Have I? I'm trying to think of a theme for our wedding, it will take place outside in the near ending of Spring. Either sometime in May or June in 2016.
"Maybe a light pink. It represents a flower which stands for spring? I have no clue." I laugh, fixing my hair which has now almost reached my shoulders.
"Whichever you pick will be as beautiful as you." He grins, kissing me on my cheek.
I smile, he can be so cheesy at times. We set Luna in her car seat, then begin driving. My eyes admire the sparkly ring on my finger, crazy to imagine that this time a year ago, Theo and I were just friends.
Lucas has not tried to reach me yet, it's unsettling not knowing what his next move is. I should tell the police, but what will happen if I get into trouble?
Maybe I should contact her, to see how Kailie is doing. Will she be mad or upset with me? I can't take this anymore, I need to speak to her.
"Shai, you look like you're fighting a battle in your head." Theo turns the car, parking at a venue we have chosen to look at.
"Just thinking about things, who knew trying to find a color for a dress would be so damn complicated?" I giggle, jumping out of the jeep.
The venue we had chosen for today is breath taking. I can imagine Theo and I standing in front of the ocean, our feet covered in the warm sand and the breeze blowing my nerves away. The guests would admire the beautiful scenery and it would be special.
Wow, that sounded so cliché.
"It looks awesome." Theo chuckles, holding Luna who is currently chewing on her soft tiny hand.
I nod my head in agreement and greet Dawn when she invites us inside.
"Welcome lovers! This place has given me quite the impression and I feel as if this is the lucky one today!" She exclaims, excited as we are.
Theo and I have seen three other venues that didn't really spark our interests. However, something about a beach wedding really intrigues me.
"The altar and sitting areas will be provided, you can chose whichever color you would like it to be. This is the ball room, where the after party would take place." She leads us into a huge, glamorous room, a stunning chandelier hangs from the beautiful detailed ceiling.
The walls are made of giant windows, perfectly seeing the deep blue sea. Stairs are all the way in the back, which leads up to a balcony as to where we would be standing. It's stunning and I cannot take my eyes off of it.
Luna squeals, her eyes practically light up at the chandelier. Theo chuckles, clearly pleased as I am.
"I love it." I manage to breathe out, clearly fascinated.
Dawn smiles, "Great! Up the stairs are the rooms where you both will be getting ready. We will decorate it as your choice and outside the wedding will take place. Photographers will be provided and security will remain outside the perimeters so the media will not disturb you all."
It sounds perfect, all I need is a maid of honor and bridesmaids. Oh, and of course a wedding dress!
"This is our place isn't it Theo?" I ask, walking towards him.
"It's everything that I wanted." He pecks me on the lips, making me the happiest girl in the world.
•••
Shortly after reserving the venue, we had finally arrived home. Tomorrow, the cast and I will be attending an interview for "Allegiant Part 1" and Luna will be with my mother for the weekend.
Thus, Theo and I will have time to ourselves. I've waited so long to just relax with the love of my life, we heard the there's a pool at the hotel we are staying at so I will definitely be bringing my bikini.
For the time being, I want to figure out who is going to be in the wedding. Theo's sister, Jessica will definitely be my bridesmaid. She's very close to me and I can practically call her my sister. Zoé will also be a bridesmaid, she is one of my close friends.
I need two more and a maid of honor, who the hell are they going to be?
"Theo! Who is going to be your best man?" I shout for him quietly, Luna has finally fallen asleep in her crib.
He walks out of the kitchen, shirtless may I add and plops on the couch with a cool beer in his hand. I quickly snatch it up, take a sip and return it to him.
"Probably my brother, I mean I have a lot of them so the rest will be groomsmen. Then Miles will be one of my men as well as my best friend Harry." He sighs, leaning on my arm.
"Harry sounds very British. Oh my gosh, is it Harry Styles?!" I squeal, obviously teasing him.
"What the bloody hell? No! He shouldn't even count as a Brit that dumb hooligan." He smirks, switching the channel on the T.V.
I began laughing hysterically, Theo can be so weird sometimes.
"Although, maybe he can be invited. I'd love to cut all that curly hair off." He winks.
I lose any self control at that and begin laughing until I couldn't breathe.
