"You make me feel complete."

Shailene's POV~

I finally finished packing our bags for our getaway weekend. The excitement I've been feeling is unbearable, although I will miss my daughter it's time for Theo and I to get back to the way we were.

Since dealing with movie deals, the Divergent Series, and interviews it's very complicated to find time for each other. It's even more difficult because I'm trying to fix my mistakes from the past.

"Shai baby, are you ready to go?" Theo wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me close to his body.

A smile crawls onto my face, a wave of warmth flows through my blood and sends comfort throughout my body. Theo always had an affect on me and I can never imagine someone else having the capability to do the same.

"Yes, was Luna picked up?" I turned around and faced him, my hands playing with his chocolate brown hair.

His eyes stare directly into my mine, searching for answers that I may never share with him. A grin appears and he nods his head. Finally, we are alone and soon will be in Chicago.

"Then we should get going, we don't want to miss our flight do we?" I grab my bag and begin to walk towards the door until I felt his hand pull me back into his arms.

"I think we have two minutes to do something we've been yearning to do for a while." His husky voice whispers and sends chills down my spine.

My face blushes and he began to kiss down my neck, nibbling the spots I'm most ticklish. A sigh escapes my mouth and I turn to face him.

As I turn around I find Theo's eyes staring intently at my lips, "Kiss me."

Theo leaned in and gently pecked my lips, teasing me as much as he could. I groaned, not wanting to be tested and pulled myself onto my tiptoes to reach him. Our lips met and my blood was coursing through my body.

They moved to the perfect rhythm of love, as Theo's hands explored my back and pulled me close to his chest. In this moment I felt alive, as if nothing was wrong in this world and a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

I was aching to go farther, but we already wasted a couple of minutes. Theo pulled away, laughing at my pouting face.

"We will finish this later love, let's get going." He kisses my forehead and wrapped his arm around my waist.

Theo's POV~

A couple hours passed, Shai leaning on my shoulder peacefully sleeping while I stare outside the airplane's window. I've been waiting for alone time with Shai, soon enough our honey moon will be around the corner and we will have more time together.

For now, this will have to do. Maybe this weekend I can get answers out of her, if I can't then I will have no choice but to call her mother. It's probably not important, Shai wouldn't keep things like that from me.

She trusts me doesn't she?

Of course she does, she wouldn't be marrying me if she didn't! I hate thinking these thoughts, it's been a long day and I just want to get to the hotel room and relax with my beautiful fiancé.

"Theo?" Shai rubs her eyes and stretches that beautiful body of hers that I always had admired.

"Yes love?" I move a strand of her soft hair to the side to look at those precious eyes I love to see every day.

"Are we there yet?" She yawns, snuggling closer to me.

I turn to the window and see that we are landing in a few minutes. Thankfully it is summer in Chicago thus it won't be so cold. Shai never really liked the cold, which makes sense since she did grow up in California.

After getting off the plane and grabbing our bags, we face the paparazzi's wrath and jumped into our car we are using for the weekend. Luckily the media didn't say anything offensive, just flashing bright lights in our face but what else is new?

"So our hotel room has a hot tub?" Shai giggles, trying to circle a word that she had found in her word search.

"Of course. And I brought a pack of Cheetos which are in the back of the car for me to eat." I smiled, man I love Cheetos.

"Theodore! You keep eating that junk and those abs of steel will be abs of fat!" She laughs and looks at what else is in our food bag.

I had almost forgot I brought a bottle of Vodka and I didn't tell Shai, maybe she won't freak out at me as bad as she did before.

I parked the car and quickly got the suitcases out of the car but stopped when I heard a shout coming from Shailene.

"Theo f**king James! What the hell is this?!" She holds the bottle out the window, I'm screwed.

"Vodka... Did I tell you how pretty that shirt looks on you?" I winked, please don't get rid of my drink!

"No it's fine, I just wished you told me you went to the liquor store so you could buy me something." She winked back, satisfied at making me scared shitless.

"Well played Shai, let's see who wins in bed tonight shall we?" I bite her ear playfully and unlock the room with our key.

She rolls her eyes and with that, we begin our lovely night together, alone.
