"They shoved me into the vehicle, the door slammed shut and trapped me into my blazing thoughts. This is all my fault."

Shailene's POV~

After contacting my agent and saying good bye to Miles and Zoé, I had finally gotten to fall asleep. I was outraged by the media, they crossed a line and it made me freak. I wasn't going to let it go, that was a private phone call and they had no right to post it to the world.

Morning came quicker than I could even process it. I barely got any sleep last night while thinking of meeting Kailie. She's my age now and I'm nervous to see her, she will be meeting the driver who could have killed her.

I could have killed her, that thought just made me want to end my life to make up for it. No wonder Theo was mad, I was a murderer!

"She didn't die Shailene." My self conscience scolds me.

But she could have.

Slowly but surely I got up and entered the bathroom, taking my regular morning shower and getting myself dressed in peach colored skinny jeans and a white v-neck shirt. It's suppose to be hot but thankfully there will be a cool breeze.

I stare at my hair, it's reached almost to my shoulders, about an inch off. It's now dirty blonde, the color of Tris's hair for Allegiant Filming. I decided to straighten it, to increase the length because I do miss my long hair.

"Shai, what are you doing up?" Theo walks into the bedroom while I strap on my brown sandals.

"I meant to tell you yesterday but we were so rudely interrupted by the media." I growl, throwing my phone and wallet into my small, black leathered purse.

"Okay, what is it?" Theo rubs his eyes, it was only 7:30 AM.

Luna usually wakes up around 8:00 AM so I will have to leave her morning bottle of Zoé to feed her. I haven't been able to spend much time with my daughter and that makes me feel guilty. Hopefully when Allegiant Part One filming is over then we could spend some more time with each other.

"I'm going to meet Kailie Conely. And I wanted to know if you'd like to accompany me?" I bite my lip, growing nervous of his answer.

"Okay let me go get ready. What time are we leaving?" Theo grabs a towel and starts the shower.

"Around 8. Theo?" I ask, facing him.

He turns around and stares at me with those big chocolate brown eyes, "Yeah?"

"Thank you. I know you haven't forgiven me, believe me I can see it in your eyes but I'm happy that we are at least talking." I sigh and close the bedroom door.

I walk into Luna's room, seeing her light brown hair messed up from actually sleep six hours straight until she needed me to feed her. Thankfully she had fallen back to sleep after being fed or else it would have been a much more difficult night.

Her light brown, hazel like eyes slowly opened and seemed tired from waking up. A bright smile cascaded across my face, my daughter had captured my heart.

She lifts her body up into a sitting like position, she was very intelligent for a baby her age. She gurgles and sucks on her thumb, I giggled.

"Good morning my Luna." I kiss her forehead and pick up, feeling her body stretch.

Then she began to whine, hungry for milk. I already pumped for her meals but I don't when Theo and I will arrive back home so I'll just give her the bottle now.

I carry Luna to the kitchen, singing twinkle twinkle little star and bouncing her along gently on my hip.

That earned me a giggle and big baby smile on her face, obviously enjoying the attention she's getting. If Luna is happy then I'm happy. I quickly grab the bottle and sit on our couch, letting Luna feed.
