I rolled my eyes and turned over trying to fall asleep but his phone went off a few more times which caused me to finally answer.
"Girl it better be an emergency! My husband is sleeping!" I said after picking up his phone
Dinorah- it is, baby Dj is sick and I need help with him
"Is he alright? What's going on? I'll come right over" I said frantically now I'm worried
Dinorah- NO! Umm I mean no, you don't have to do that he's gonna want his daddy can you just wake Devale up, please
"He knows me just as well as he knows Devale, but sure I'll wake him up. " I said muting the phone. "D! Get your ass up and talk to this girl"
Devale- Crys I know you didn't answer my phone
"Well she kept calling and she said Dj is sick so you need to get up!" I said sternly
Devale got up with an attitude snatching the phone from me
Devale- What Dinorah?
Dinorah- Hey, I'm sorry to wake you, but Dj is sick running a fever and I need help
Devale- Okay I'll send Crystal she can come over and help you unless you wanna take him to the hospital
Dinorah- NO! please you, he's gonna want his daddy.

Devale- I'm on my way Dinorah. ( hanging up )
"Yep I'm coming too," I said getting up out of the bed and grabbing my sweats
Devale- wait wait wait, where are you going?
"Devale you can be gullible and stupid for your baby mama if you want to but I'm going! I'll wait in the car for you" I said grabbing his car keys off the dresser.
A few moments later
Devale- you're gonna wait in the car when we get there I don't have time for this
"Fine but if you in there too long it's a wrap for her ass," I said putting on my seatbelt
Devale- You ready to choose violence over nothing my son is sick

As I approached the door I was kind of annoyed that Crystal didn't trust me to come alone. I knocked on the door and after a few minutes, Dinorah opened it standing in the door frame with a robe on and no baby in her arms. "Where's Dj?" I asked her
Dinorah- he's upstairs in his room, come on.
I followed her into the house and up the steps to DJ's room. He was asleep. "What's wrong with him?"
