Prologue

Something's don't work out the way we want them to, Yuna wanted her family to be alive and well. But the only thing she got was a assassin sister, and a dead father, her mother never being talked about.

Dang-gu wanted Cho-yeon to love him, but instead got heartbroken after she became petty of her fathers death, immediately calling their wedding off, telling him to never forget what he did, and that she wanted nothing to do with him anymore.

Uk wanted to live a long happy life with Mudoek. Instead, however, she ran wild and killed him, only surviving because of the ice stone, which lives within him.

And Jin Mu just wanted to be the villain of the story without any interference, but when you do things like break up a family, kill someone's love, and try to end the world... revenge and avenge is bound to happen.

After Uk's "death" everything changed. He became cold and distant from those around him, except for a few exceptions.

Yuna tried her best to distance herself from Dang-gu, but with his marriage falling through, he needed someone.

She wanted to yell at him and tell him how stupid he was for believing Cho-yeon wouldn't leave him, but she also understood where the young lady was coming from, so she didn't.

Park Jin stepped down as Leader of Songrim, leaving the position for Dang-gu to take. He begged Yuna for hours to become a mage and help him, but she declined, it was only when he remembered he needed an assistant as leader that he got an idea.

He pleaded with her to become his assistant, that she could still learn how to be a mage, but she would be around him all the time, only now she wouldn't be a servant.

It took all of 30 minutes for her to agree. She would be trained by Dang-gu most of the time, but Sang-ho also trained her when Dang-gu couldn't, or he just helped out in general.

She quickly picked up on things, becoming good at most of it. Dang-gu wanted her to go on learning more, exited that his friend was learning quickly. but Sang-Ho was quick to remind him that she was still new to it, and that it could potentially hurt her.

Meanwhile Uk was out finding and killing soul shifters, which had doubled in numbers since the ice stones return. He assisted Songrim in finding them, but it was mostly him who ended them for good.

Everyone was doing fine in Daeho, well, almost everyone.

Jinyowon had shut their doors for good, no one would be allowed in. Which worked out in Cho-twin's favor, but not in Bu-yeon's.

Jin Bu-yeon, the true heir to Jinyowon. After Mudoek jumped into the lake known as the Soul shifters grave, Jinyowon mages jumped in and got her body out.

Lady Jin then brought it to Master Lee, who was able to preserve the body of Jin Bu-yeon, only difference is her face.

Her face would resemble Naksu's, as he couldn't save her face, not that he could.

even locked away in Jinyowon, if Mudoek was seen, she would be known as Naksu.

And so Lady Jin had her daughter back, well almost, see, it was in deed Jin Bu-yeon, but it was still Naksu's soul that remained, just without her memories.

And so as her memories start to return to her, she will slowly gain her divine powers back, it'll only be when Naksu's memories fully return, will Bu-yeon's soul return as well.

Naksu will forever be gone.

...at least that's what Master Lee says.

What happens when Dang-gu gets drunk and reveals something to Yuna, and one thing leads to another and something unexpected appears?

What happens when Uk breaks into Jinyowon to catch a soul shifter and ends up running into Bu-yeon, who then demands he Marry her?

What happens when Jin Mu decides to unleash the fire bird on DaeHo and the rest of the world?

Guess you'll just have to read and find out.

   story notes, A/n:

•this story follows part 2 of alchemy of souls. If you haven't read "sunshine" or watched the show you WILL be extremely confused as this book will focus mainly on Yuna and Dang-gu whilst sunshine focused a bit on everyone.

• Even though this is a Dang-gu X oc (or reader) I'm keeping the little pregnancy trope because I can:) don't worry though it won't be a big part of the book (and probably won't be mentioned till the middle of the book)

•CHO-YEON IS NOT THE BAD GUY!

•some of the characters (cough cough Yul) might be a bit rude at times but they'll get over it.

•might be a bit of a fast passed at first.

• Dang-gu will act out of character, as will some of the other characters.

• I DO NOT own the rights to Alchemy of souls, it's plot, or the characters.
• I DO NOT own rights to the name "yuna"

•I do tend to get Chwiseonru and some parts of Songrim mixed up. If you find that I've put down Chwiseonru for songrim or vise versa please let me know so I can fix it🤍

• this book contains 🔞 content. Although I'm not confident in writing smut, just like in the last book, there will be some mature content. So please if your under 18 skip it, I'll try to put warnings on all of those parts (which won't be much)

• spelling mistakes also will be found, again just let me know and I'll happily fix it. English is my first language but I tend to get mixed up sometimes with words and such.

•I believe that's it, same thing as last book only different story line.
