Chapter fourteen: Yul's dying?

"Yuna, Dang-gu something has happened" Bu-yeon said, storming into Dang-gu's office like thing.

"What is it Bu-yeon?" I asked "aren't you and Yul supposed to head out right now?"

"That's the problem, a young man from Gaema Village came and said that so-I was in danger, that Cheonbugwan mages got her. Yul left and went to the gambling den to help her"

"Oh gosh, he's going to get himself killed" I said. "Come on" Dang-gu said, grabbing my hand.

And like that we were up and out the door, with Bu-yeon trailing behind us

"If anything happened to Yul. Uk will loose control" Dang-gu said, Turing to Bu-yeon once we exited the building. "This whole time, Uk has barley contained his anger. But if the Cheonbugwan mages hurt Yul..." he trailed off.

"Uk may just explode, we can only pray that nothing-" we started to walk towards the exit of songrim but Bu-yeon interrupted us again.

"I know where the gambling den is, let me take you guys there"

"We know where the gambling Den is located. But anything could happen, so please stay here" I told her, giving her the best smile I could come up with.

Despite how awful Yul can be, I don't want him hurt, more so, I don't want what will come if Uk loses his control.

"It's entered into Yul's core of energy" Master Heo said, once he examined Yul.

Apparently, so-I had put a blood worm into him, to try and save him when he was hurt by the soul shifter in Jeongjingak.

The Cheonbugwan mages had hurt him very badly as well. Uk had took them all down, all by himself.

"Then you have to get it out of him" Dang-gu said. He was beside of Master Heo, while I was beside of Bu-yeon, who looked sad.

"No one can remove it when it's in a mage's core of energy. It will not come out until he's dead" Master Heo said. Then continued

"if his energy surged, the blood parasites would have, too. It would have caused him terrible pain, to fight in this state, one can only imagine the pain he felt at the end"

"What do you mean the end?" I asked. "Are you saying Yul's going to die?"

I felt a hand grab mine, i didn't have to look to know it was Bu-yeon. She must feel horrible as well.

"Please, find some way to save him, there is no way we can let him die like this!" Dang-gu basically screamed.

I let go of Bu-yeon's hand to move next to Dang-gu, who immediately pulled me into his side.

"Yul" Dang-gu creaked out,

"In seoho fortress sits Yul's Lantern of life, if Yul were to die, his lantern of life will go out. Then his father, General Seo would come to the capital to uncover what was the true cause, of his son's unforeseen demise" Master Heo told us.

"What pain my Yul must have suffered!"

"It's been a while since I've seen Uk. I believe... we believe, that he's gone to Cheonbugwan" Dang-gu said.

As usual, it's Dang-gu, myself, Sang-Ho and park Jin. Only this time we were standing in front of the stairs.

"I have no intentions of trying to stop him from going. The seo's heir is near death because of their actions. Cheonbugwan has to pay for what they've done. I will... go support Jang Uk"  Master Heo said.

"What will songrim do?"

"Uncle, I'm yet to have to confidence to represent Songrim. But given what's happened to my friend, I'll go support him as well" Dang-gu said "I think Yuna will agree with me"

I nodded "they hurt my friend, I don't want them going unpunished"

"Park Dang-gu, Yuna you two must protect Songrim. I don't care that you're not married yet, you two will do it together" Park Jin said.

He then turned to Master Heo. "And master Heo, you must take care of Yul. So gather the mages... as for Cheonbugwan, I'll go there"

He immediately left, going to get the mages, and make their way to Cheonbugwan.

We stayed here of course, to protect Songrim.

Well, Dang-gu stayed at Songrim, I made my way to Sejukwon to check on things with Yul, per Dang-gu's request.

"Bu-yeon, i know it's hard but I don't think you should be touching him, he's in critical condition as you know" I smiled at her.

"Of course, I know i just wanted to check" she said, drawling her hand back from his chest.

"I'm sorry, I just.... I don't want anything to happen to him" I said sadly. She smiled at me "he'll make it, I have faith in him"

"Come on, let's go before Young Lady Heo throws a fit on us" I said, taking her hand and leading her out the door.

Once we were outside we seen Sun-I, Yun-Ok's servant, walking with a bag in her arms.

"What are these. I have no clue what medicine Young Master Seo had been taking. He had everything packed up, so I brought them all for you" She said, walking to the stairs, hollering for her young lady.

Bu-yeon immediately went up to her "are you looking for his medicine?"

Sun-I nodded "yeah" Bu-yeon grabbed the bag from her, putting it down on the stairs, ripping it open, going through it. It didn't take her long to dig out a letter.

"It appears to be a letter sealed with energy" she said, looking at it.

"Hey! Don't touch things however you please" Young Lady Heo said, brushing past me, from where she came from, going to Bu-yeon and ripping the letter from her hands.

"I only wanted to see which medicine he's been taking" Bu-yeon said, trying to defend herself.

"I know how to do that myself. Please go now"

I sighed, going over to them. "Young Lady Heo, I think I speak for both myself and  Lady Jin when I say we're all scared about this. She just wanted to help" I said, then bowed my head

"Have a nice night" and with that i lightly grabbed Bu-yeon's arm, leading her out of Sejukwon.

As we were walking she started whispering to herself "I asked him to go with me to Danhyanggok while he was in such pain" she sighed.

I stayed quiet, we all feel guilty even though none of us knew he had the worm in him. She stopped after a couple seconds, seemingly in her own mind.

"Yuna! Young Lady Jin! They say they found a way Yul can be saved!" Dang-gu said, as he came speeding towards us.

"Wait, really?!" I asked him. He nodded "lady Jin says there's a way to remove the blood parasite from his body. My uncle and Uk have gone over to Jinyowon to find out" He said.

"My mother... agreed to tell Uk how to remove the blood parasite?" Bu-yeon asked.

"Yeah, if Lady Jin offers her help, I know Yul will make it. uk will do anything for him, I know he'll save Yul, whatever the cost" Dang-gu said.

I went over to him. "He'll save our friend, I know he can"

He nodded. "He'll save Yul, he will"
