Chapter eight: Happy with you

"Young lady. These people here are like family to the young master" Maidservant Kim told Bu-yeon.

We were sitting at a table. By we I mean myself, Dang-gu, Master Heo, and park Jin, along with Maidservant Kim and Bu-yeon.

"I'm the Jin family's eldest daughter, Jin Bu-yeon, nice to meet you"

"Is it really true that you and Uk are married?" Master Heo asked her. "This is why she came here to meet us" Lord Park said "in any case, now that you two are married, I congratulate you both"

"Not yet! Well, of course, they'll have a wedding to make it official, until that day, she's the heir to Jinyowon and remains betrothed to the Young Master" Maidservant Kim told us.

"Since she's adamant on calling you his betrothed, you must have lied about the baby too" Master Heo said to bu-yeon.

"My apologies. I thought a fight would break out so I had to lie" Bu-yeon said.

I don't blame her, it was the unanimous assembly, they're always fighting about something.

"Goodness, your bold aren't you? Have I... have I seen you for treatment before, Young Lady? I feel like I've seen you" Master Heo suddenly asked her.

"I don't believe so" she responded "they told me I was treated by the best physician that Daeho Fortress has to offer"

"I'm the best physician in Daeho Fortress. Who else is there? Give me their name" Master Heo said to her.

He over reacts on everything so this isn't a shocker, but I can see why Lady Jin though of another, where Master Heo works around Songrim, she obviously didn't want Bu-yeon near us after what happened.

"Come on, Master Heo, that's enough. She was never allowed to leave Jinyowon, what I heard, is that she also suffers from memory loss- ouch"

I cut Dang-gu off with a swift slap to the back of his head. "You don't say that around people as if they're not there Dang-gu" I scolded him. I knew I shouldn't have told him about that.

He smiled sheepishly "sorry"

Park Jin turned to Bu-Yeon, not affected by me hitting his nephew, as I've done it many times before.

"You've lost some of your memories?" He asked her.

"After I woke from an illness, I had no memories at all. With that said, I'm still able to see energy the same way I could, like when I was a child" she said

She took a pause "I can see that there's great energy within you two" she turns toward Park Jin "you are one of the few mages I've met with exceptionally strong powers"

"You can tell that just by taking a look at us?" master Heo asked her. But she ignored him as she turned to Dang-gu. "As for you, your energy may not be as strong but it shines so bright with purity" she told him.

"Everyone knows Dang-gu has a great personality, it's mostly cause of Yuna, you call that an ability, come on"

"Your energy matches her's" she turned her head towards me "it's clear and light, but has determination, similar to my younger sister. I can also sense something else, but I'm not sure what it is exactly...." she trialed off "You've heard about me from my sister right?" She said.

Cho-yeon.... Why is it Cho-yeon always seems to ruin perfect moments, even if she isn't even here?

"Oh uh" Dang-gu scrambled, obviously put in a awkward position.
