Chapter twenty: unanimous assembly troubles

"Just wait in the hall, I'll call you in when it's safe" Uk's voice startled me. I've been standing here for a few minutes before he showed up.

"Okay, they're already down there, by the way" I said, looking at the door.

He hummed. "Good, stan back" he told me, motioning me to move back with his hand.

I nodded, moving so I wasn't directly in front of the door, and instead behind him.

as Uk raised his hand, blue light forming around it. And icy sound came, then the door Turing blue, he then drawled his sword and stabbed it in the ground, making mutiple doors appear around us.

He grabbed my hand, leading me into the door infront of us, as shadows disappeared into the others.

"Stay here, this is as far as you are to go till I call you in okay?"

I nodded, I knew this wasn't up for debate.

I could hear fighting and talking. And being curious I started walking towards the door that leads into the secret room, standing there, making sure to stay out of Jin Mu's sight.

They said something, then Jin Mu turned and walked into the other hall, a blue portal appearing before he disappeared.

I was about to walk out when I heard footsteps, and a hand on my back, making me walk forward.

I turned my hand, seeing the crown prince. He stopped in started looking around, as he took his hand off my back.

I looked around as well tons and tons of dead body's everywhere, i presume Uk killed.

"Jang Uk" he said, getting Uk's attention. "You've finally put an end to all of this"

"Uk, are you all right?" Yul, who I just noticed was here, asked, reaching for his arm. "Your body is as cold as ice"

"For now, I can handle it, are you okay Yuna?" He turned his attention on me.

"Why would I be? I didn't do anything" I said, he's so weird.

"Where's Jin Mu?" Sang-ho asked.

"I sent him to Gwido, there he will die a death that is most appropriate for his crimes" Uk said.

"But Jin Bu-yeon is still in Gwido" the crown prince said. "She was the one who asked me to send him there, so that she'll be able to... fulfill her role" uk said.

He was quiet for a moment, then suddenly, he fell to his knee. I leant down to help him. "Uk"

He didn't answer, he just continued to look into nothing.

"Let me walk you" i insisted, holding onto Uk's arm so he wouldn't fall again. "Why did I need to come?" I asked him, curiosity eating at me.

He looked at the ground, then to me. "Worse case scenario, we were going to use you to get to Jin Mu"

I nodded my head, I don't understand but I guess I shouldn't worry since that didn't happen.

"I can walk by myself. Go make sure Dang-gu knows your safe. Now" He pulled his arm from my grasp, and walked away. I sighed, he's so stubborn.

I went back to songrim, where Dang-gu was pacing back and forth, as soon as he heard my footsteps he immediately came over to me.

"Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" He asked, checking me for injuries.

"I'm fine, dang-gu, Uk didn't even let me in the secret room till he dealt with Jin Mu, and I found out the crown prince, yul and Sang-Ho wasn't that far behind me, so yes, im okay"
