Sam tapped her fingers on the ground and peeked out from where she was. A smile grew on her lips as she saw her sister back-pedal to another side of the wall she was on.
She was about to come to her aid until she finally knew why Adrian was behind another wall. She heard talking from the figures.
Well, her targets.
Her mission, if you will.
Sam backed up as quietly and rapidly as she could when she saw one of her targets coming towards her hiding spot.
Sam's breath hitched in her throat and she risked a glance over to Adrian. There was no way even Adrian could slip out of this one. Adrian glanced at Jade for a beat and she hopped silently on top of the roof. Sam smiled. Of course.
How could she doubt Adrian's endless possibilities?
Her being a shape-shifter and all.
She was stuck being a voice manipulator.
Sam rolled her eyes and watched as Adrian slipped back to another wall that faced away from her view. Jade backed into the pole of a water tower quietly. Out of the corner of her eye, Sam could see hardly see Carmen in the shadows. Sam saw a pair of green feet in front of her.
So that answered her question on the stage name for her targets.
She sensed the mutant to search in the small space she was in. She cursed in her thoughts. She would have to be quick if she wanted to get out of the space without being spotted.
Sam shimmied out the side of the small space and waited for the target to look where she was hiding. Not that it was the best hiding spot.
In all honesty, it reminded Sam of an impossibly small alleyway.
Sam whistled, throwing her voice two blocks out. Nothing was heard after the sound.
"Woah." One of The Turtles whispered lowly.
"Help!" Sam said throwing her voice again but in a different direction. All of The Turtles sprinted towards the voice and Sam smiled at her luck. After two more minutes, Sam fully walked out her hiding spot. Jade ran up and smiled.
"Quick thinking, Sam." Sam nodded and Adrian came out from behind her wall and dusted off her shinobi shozuku with a sigh.
"Where's Carmen?" She asked. Sam pointed to the top of Jade's water tower. Carmen hopped down and landed in a squat. She stood up and chuckled.
"Did you guys see the targets? They looked really cute." Carmen said, grinning. They all rolled our eyes in reply.
"You have to focus, Car. There's no time for swooning on our assignment." Adrian said, her voice a little stern and a bit strained.
Sam shook off the thought and sighed.
"Alright, Kim Possible. We avoided the reptiles. What do we do now?" Sam asked. Adrian motioned for them all to follow her and Carmen happily bounced by her side.
Jade and Sam followed closely behind and waited to see where Adrian was leading them.
