Carmen rolled her eyes while Adrian explained why they didn't attack at first hand.
"There was no strategy in that." Carmen stated.
Adrian frowned and looked at Carmen with a slight glare.
"What?"
"You heard me. You have the best ears out of this group. I wasn't exactly whispering."
Adrian let out a wry snicker.
"Ok. What do you think would've been a better idea, huh?"
Carmen clenched her fists.
"We should've just attacked the Turtles once we were in the same area as them instead of hide. I doubt they're that tough anyway."
"You haven't heard what they can do, have you?"
"I know what they can't do, and they can't work together."
Jade coughed. "We're kinda falling into that category right now, actually." She muttered.
Adrian and Carmen both glared at Jade.
She shrunk and nodded.
"Won't talk." She said, putting her hands up in defeat."So you think we should've just attacked them, right? Well, let's point out the flaws in that shall we? You would've been the first one to get hurt, as per usual. Sorry, Carmen."
Carmen growled.
"Jade would've gotten hurt. Then Sam and I would've been the only two standing."
"Ugh, I told you that those Turtles don't know how to fight like we can."
"They've been practicing ninjitsu for like 15 years! We've been training in multiple defensive forms for just as long. But not focusing on one for those years isn't gonna give us a push."
"Yeah, it would. It would definitely give us a better push. We know like twenty different fighting styles. Last I checked, twenty's bigger and better than one."
Sam rubbed the back of her neck, worriedly. This fight wasn't going to well. However, Jade was actually amused by how this was going. Carmen and Adrian had never really argued this badly before to where it was getting loud.
"You know what?! You're always saying that you're the leader and that you're plans always work! Well, news flash!!! THEY DON'T!"
"I NEVER SAID THAT MY PLANS WORK EVERY TIME!"
"REALLY?! You said that we should hold off on the attack and just now you said that if we pick them off one by one it would be guaranteed to work!"
Adrian stayed silent before sighing.
"That is what I said and you know that if we are to follow through that plan it would work. So why are you arguing with me, Carmen? We've done that same maneuver in training and you saw that it was effective."
"Oh, so you call Jade getting a gash on her calf 'effective'?"
"It wasn't a gash!"
"It was the longest gash I had to fix! She was losing a lot of blood!"
Sam tensed up and suddenly Jade wasn't so entertained with the argument anymore. Carmen passed a line that no one had ever crossed before. Adrian hated when someone brought up her friends getting hurt. She hated it even more when she was blamed for it, she had already gotten enough of that from Aiden.
"I could've sworn your boyfriend told us to make this an in and out mission, Teachers Pet." She said, adding another touchy subject on Adrian and stalking out the warehouse.
Jade threw her hands over her mouth and watched for Adrian's reaction. Her eyes became emotionless before them and biting her lip.
Sam walked up and put a hand on her shoulder.
Adrian shrugged her hand off and walked out the warehouse too, making sure to go a different way out. Sam finally looked at Jade, who was still recovering from the tenseness of their sisters' argument.
"What do we do?" Jade asked. Sam sighed.
"Let's give them an hour. If they're not back, I'll go for Carmen and you can get Adrian."
