We were walking back to Manhattan, me and Davey a little behind so I can explain what was going on with Spot and I

"So, maybe three or four years ago, me and Spot were a thing. He was very protective over me and wouldn't let me do much. I was basically stuck in Brooklyn with him, couldn't even go home to my momma. One day I walked on the doc and saw Spot kissing another girl and I was heartbroken so I made my presence know and I punched him right in the nose. I broke it, still very proud of that moment, and I told him that we were done. I ran back to 'hattan and I never went back to Brooklyn until today. Spot honestly blames me for being such a bad girlfriend when honestly, I was the better person in the relationship. But anyway, you got what happened"

Davey stared at me with wide eyes and stopped in his tracks. I stopped with him and looked at him with a confused expression "are you okay Davey?"

"I'm so sorry" was all he could get out

I laughed "It's okay. You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm kinda glad I caught him when I did to be honest. I don't know what I woulda done if I had caught him later and not that night. But anyway it's all over. I have amazing friends and Spot is just in my past. Also, I found someone better"

Davey rose an eyebrow "Who?"

"Guess" I said smirking at him

"Well" He said with a focused face "There's Race, Mush, Kid Blink, you're really close with Jack. Skittery, although you don't talk to him all the time. You and Crutchie would look adorable toge-"

I cut him off by kissing him. He seemed surprised at first but then he kissed me back. It was such a magical kiss and much better than any kiss with Spot. Our lips were moving in sync and it felt like hours but it was only a few seconds. We both pulled away and he laughed

"I never would have thought that" He said with a big smile on his face

I shrugged "expect the unexpected"

Steph: All those days, watching from the windows

All those years, outside looking in

All that time, never even knowing, just how blind I've been

Now I'm here blinking in the starlight

Now I'm here suddenly I see

Standing here it's all so clear

I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light, and it's like the fog has lifted

And at last I see the light, and it's like the sky is new

And it's warm and real and bright

And the world has somehow shifted

All at once, everything looks different

Now that I see you

We were both holding each other's hands and looking into each other's eyes

Davey: all those days, chasing down a daydream

All those years, living in a blur

All that time, never truly seeing things

The way they were

Now she's here

Shining in the starlight

Now she's here

Suddenly I know

If she's here

It's crystal clear

I'm where I'm meant to go

Both: and at last I see the light

Davey: and it's like the fog has lifted

Both: and at last I see the light

Steph: and it's like the sky is new

Both: and it's warm and real and bright

And the world has somehow shifted

All at once, everything is different

Now that I see you

Now that I see you

We leaned in and our lips connected again. I wish I could have stayed there forever but we had to get going back to 'hattan
