Chapter 12: New Day, New Environment

All the legendary pokemon stood their ground facing what seemed to be darkness. I looked around to see everyone I knew just lying on the ground, unconscious. I tried waking them up, but no one would wake up. I then realized that sky was missing, where had she gone. All I hope she is well. I looked into the darkness to see red glowing eyes, glaring at me. I shivered in fear. What could it be, it was just there waiting. A few moments later, a tall figure emerged from the shadows. I couldn't tell who it was due to how far they were. All I saw was them pointing towards me and the other legendary pokemon. The darkness started coming closer, and so did the red eye creature. One moment I'm running the next I get knocked over by a purple blast. The darkness was far, but for sure getting closer. My vision was blurry, I thought it was the end, but a figure and a pink creature flew over me. They started nudging me. "Wake upppp wake up!!!" My eyes closed a bit afterwards.

I then hear "Leo, Leo wake up!! It's almost 11 am!"Sky said. I open my eyes to see her nudging me, more and more aggressively. "Ok ok im up, can you stop doing that i'm gonna get dizzy" I said tiredly. "Sorry it's just you were asleep for a while, you normally don't sleep for this long" Sky said concerned. "I don't know why, but come on let's stop wasting time, we need to get to the next city" I said after getting up and stretching. I got ready and headed downstairs to see everyone waiting for me. "Look who finally decides to wake up" Mage said annoyingly. "Oh shut up Mage, let's just get a move on now" I said, still a bit tired. We left the pokecenter and started heading to the next city. "According to this map we have to get through Mt.Moon to get to the next city" Sky said while looking at her map. "Mt.Moon? So does that mean we have to go through a cave?" Aria said worriedly. "Seems like it" Chalk said. "Lets just hope we can get through Mt.Moon quickly, I don't want to be in there for a while" I said. "Hopefully, but we don't know what's inside that place, it's all a mystery to us" Sky said. We finally made it to the cave entrance for Mt.Moon. "Here we are" I said, looking up the mountain. "If we just stick together, we'll be out in no time!" Aria said, trying to be optimistic. As we entered the cave, there were torches everywhere lighting up the cave. "Thank god there's torches, I would not want to be traveling in the dark" Alex said in relief. "Let's hope this cave won't be as bad as any of the other routes" I said a bit worried.
