I know that I should probably wake Dean up but I don't know what time they got in last night. Okay so part of me is being a chicken right now, so I'm on my way to school.

I wasn't in school for very long before I was getting called into the school office. The second period had just started a few minutes ago. When I walked into the school office I seen Dean and Mark there.

I was sign out of school by Dean. Him and my brother let me out of the school no one really spoke much but Mark told me to follow him and I did. When we got outside we ended up getting in Dean's vehicle.

We all ended up getting in Dean's truck and going to what I thought was back at his place, but it turned out to be at this really small cabin that had a sign that said Clinic. I was confused about why we was there.

I wanted to ask why, but my brother turned around and said come on. He opened the door and got out to go inside the clinic. Then Dean was out of the truck and open my door and told me to come on. I got out and looked over at the cabin and look back at him. I've already said, I don't need to see a therapist! Why are we here?

It's okay Scarlett we just want to go in and sit down and talk it's me your brother and a few others Dean said to me as we walked up the stairs and up to Mark who was waiting on the porch by the front door.

Mark opened the door and went in and I followed him. We went in and I ended up seeing one person behind a desk and two more people sitting in what looked like to be a waiting room. Mark went over and sat down and patted a seat and told me to sit so that's what I did, one of the persons was an older man and beside him was my mate.

The guy behind the desk look to be like a doctor or a nurse. I wasn't for sure. The Man Behind The Desk walked around and came over and sat down beside Dean and he introduced himself to me.

Hello.. My name is Jordan, this is my clinical office. Your mom and stepfather reached out to me Saturday. They set you up an appointment today to have a check up done. Your mom did tell me that she don't know when the last time you had a check up was?

Your mom said to me that even though she is a nurse, she never took you into have check ups done. She believes the last time you had one was when you was living with your grandmother, but she does not know for sure when that was! She thinks it was probably around when you were 6 years old.

Your mother also said, she wouldn't be here today because of some family issues between you and her. That her presence here today might make you uncomfortable.

Just then the man sitting beside my mate ended up speaking. Hi.. Scarlett my name is Tony and I'm the Elder of the bear clan here in Kendall.

Dean reached out to me and a few other people on Wednesday evening and we tried to find you. We all seen the note that you had left. It stated that you didn't run away and you would be back on Sunday.

Something that was brought to all of our attentions was that you have been going through a hard time. A lot of people felt really bad for judging you and misunderstanding the whole story.

Your mother and your brother here had went over, how things were when you lived with them back in Colorado.

People started having concerns being that you haven't had a checkup in God knows how long. The fact that you're not just human, but most definitely a Half Breed.

Seeing that your mother is a shifter and your father was human, your mother didn't think about you being a half breed child. In this case child ends up not shifting until their 16th birthday. In some cases as of what we know is that half breed children do not shift on their 16th birthday, it's because one parent is a half breed and the other parent is a human. But you can still carry a shifter Gene. Which means that you will have a mate just like all the other shifters.

Scarlett I am so sorry, as your brother I should have paid more attention to you. I ignored you, because I was upset at how you was ignoring mom. It really hurt her and made her unhappy. She was such a good mother.

I'll admit that I was being very childish since you wasn't gone to talk to Mom and seem like you had a attitude, then I was just going to ignore you back. I just wanted to make you feel how mom felt.

When Dean read your letter out loud to everyone, I have to say it really hit me hard. As did it to our mother. She is very sorry and she wants to try to fix things between you and her. She said that she won't push you and that is one of the main reasons she's not here. She hopes one day you can find it in your heart to forgive her and give her a second chance.

We really don't know, how you lived with your grandmother. But I would really like to know! What did happen? One of the people that came to help us look for you Wednesday evening said something that stuck with me. Scarlett please tell me that you, don't self harm or have a eating disorder or something like that!

Why would you think that, I said to my brother looking right at him? No I don't self harm and no I don't have a eating disorder. It doesn't really matter what happened in the past!

She's gone and it's in the past, I have moved on. I could visibly see him relax and let out a breath of air. That I didn't even know he was holding.

This is definitely not what I expected when I came back home on Sunday! I figured that they'd be hollering and screaming. Even probably be grounded for the perceivably future I thought to myself.
