Doctor Jordan didn't get to finish that sentence as I jumped up and ran for the bathroom in the hallway and threw up in the toilet. Caleb was right behind me holding my hair up and rubbing circles with his other hand on my back.

When I was done I sat back up and he let my hair go. He helped me to stand up and I washed my mouth out with some water. I then turned around and leaned against the door frame and was looking at him and said you're my mate ain't you, because every time you touch me or when you're holding me which should be the first clue there are little tiny pricks of static electricity that goes through my body. Next there's the fact that you're here with me today and the fact you are the one who was with me in the doctor's office and the one who has been helping me calm down every time I start to get panicky.

Yes I am your mate I figured it out when I came to Dean's house to help hunt for you. The way one finds they're made is either through touch or scent. You haven't been close enough for me to send you an even if you were with you taking sent blockers no wonder it was hard for me to pick up your scent.

We had to use one of your t-shirts to try to find out where you were at, but with those scent blockers you didn't leave much of a scent on your clothes to pick up. Everyone had a hard time trying to locate you. There was just enough scent that I was able to pick up that you was my mate.

You're so much older than I am don't you want to have a mate closer to your age you just see me as a teenager don't you. I wouldn't blame you at all if you  wanted to reject me.

Yes I had concerns about our age Gap and I didn't really understand but after talking to Tony and a few others it helped me to understand the age gap better I am totally fine with it. We are only 8 years apart and they are some cases where people are just like us with an age gap.

He is right Scarlett, Tony said there is a couple in town they both run the gym they are bear shifters and are 6 years apart. There is also a couple that lives in the valley they are wolf shifters and they are 8 years apart. Just like both of you two are. There is even a bear and wolf shifter that are mated together and they are 7 years apart.

In the shifter community at the age of 16 you are seen as an adult. Most 16 year old teenagers are looking for there mate's or a relationships to be in until they fine there mate. Shifters tend to find their mates between the age of 16 and 18 years old.

Like Dean here he ended up finding both his mates at the same time but he met your mother before she was 16 and he meant his other mate Crystal a few days before your mom 16th birthday. Crystal was 2 years older than your mother. That's why we call her his first mate and your mother the second chance mate. It is against shifter law to have sex with a 15-year-old, but it is okay to have a courtship with them.

Just like you and Caleb here it is okay for you all to have a courtship now, but seeing that you are almost 16 in just 5 weeks. You all will be able to have a full relationship. About all shifters agree not to rejection a mate. Because being rejected can lead to one or both of you dying. I might as a blessing from our goddess above.

Does the age difference between us bother you Scarlett? No, I thought it might bother you. I have been waiting for a while to find my mate. When a shifter doesn't find their mate by the time they're 25 their other half starts to get Restless. You don't know how happy I am to find you Scarlett.

I might not really understand that but I am happy knowing that there is some body who wants me. I do believe that actions speak louder than words.

You being here says more than words can ever say. To be honest I knew you were my mate ever since my brother's wedding. That is were I first sent you. I didn't say anything because, I was very scared of your reaction. You were older than I was for one and for two when I heard you and Dean talking you both refer to me as a trouble teenager.

Well as Dean said earlier everything was a great misunderstanding on everybody's part. But know I'm here now and I'm going to have a hard time letting you out of my site.

Because when we were hunting for you Wednesday evening nobody could seem to find you. Now we all have a great understanding why that was. You have no idea what it felt like knowing that you were out there somewhere upset and I could not find you. We're in the hell did you go when you left here. Because we combed almost this whole entire town and all the forest and the valley.

I didn't stay in just one place I roamed around but normally I mostly stay the night at the very end of the valley close to a town called sumas. I got back here around 6:30 and went to the store and got some food and hung out around town until it got dark and then I had it back to Dean's place. That was around 9:15 when I got there no one was home the door was unlocked and I was tired so I went on to bed.
