Scarlett's secret ~ (Finding A Home)

chapter 25

After we had got everything done we decided to watch a movie before bed I went over and laid down on the couch but next thing I seen was the back of my eyelids cuz I fell asleep.

I was halfway woken up when I heard someone talking very close to me then I realized that it was ben. Hey Caleb grab that blanket over there and put it over her so she won't get cold as we go over to the cabin.

This is a reminder of the picture of the rental cabin they have for the weekend.

The small cabin on the right had two bedrooms and a bath. There was a little open walkway between the houses. Then you have the big main house which had a fully furnished basement.

That was even a room that had air hockey and darts in it. There was even this really cool gazebo that you had to climb upstairs to get to.

Some other people were planning on spending the night here at the cabin and others was planning on leaving to head back home. Like Sarah's dad who had to go back to work.

Sarah couldn't stay because her dad had to work Sunday. They were coming up here together in one vehicle. Her dad let her drive all the way here to make it up to her for not being able to spend the night. She was pretty happy about that.

We have figured that people will start showing up between 10:00 and 11:00. We were going to start the hamburgers around 11:30 and then started eating about 12:00 or so. I plan on telling everybody my news that I have to share while they were eating.

Then we could have ice cream, cake and brownies. I was planning on opening my gifts while we all had dessert. Then we could all just hang out and spend time together and for the people who wanted to stay they were more than welcome to but I understood some people had to go back to work and others just wanted to head home.

In the morning I didn't really want to get up because I was cozy and warm in the bed. The guys said that it was 9:46 and we needed to get up, the guest was gone to start arriving soon. I knew they were right. So I had got up an got ready for today.

Everybody started arriving around the time that we thought they would. My best friend didn't get here until 10:55 they were the last ones to show up. Everyone else had got here around 10:05 too 10:40 mostly people ended up coming here together.

When Sarah finally came into the house we ended up hugging each other and then she turned around and started sniffing the air. I looked at her, before I could say anything Isaiah was there.

They were hugging each other then sarah kiss him. They both ended up saying mate at the same time. We all stated to congratulate them.

Then Henry said Sarah Lynn Parker you just turned 16 and as long as you live under my roof, you're only allowed to date him. You Mr. get my little girl pregnant before is 19 just know I'm a surgeon. I will remove certain items from your body.  DAD.. Sarah cried out at him. Then everyone ruptured in laughter.

This was already turning out to be a great birthday and I was so happy for my best friend.

We all ended up talking while the food was getting ready and then we ate and why everyone was eating I told everyone the news that I had to share people was amazed and congratulated me on my success.

After everyone was done eating We all ended up eating dessert while I opened up gifts and of course I made a wish before blowing out the birthday cake candles. I made the same wish that I told my mates what I really wanted for this birthday. It was for all three of us to be mated and marked together.

I loved all the gifts that everyone gave me and said thank you to everyone. My brother said, you know most girls on their 16th birthday always wait for someone to buy them a vehicle. But you went and bought your own. So I got you the next best thing.

Then he handed me this gift and when I opened it I smiled really big and looked at him and he says, yeah I remember the day that I picked out my seat covers and how you told me that I should get dragonflies ones because dragonflies are awesome and they would look really cool and you would never be alone in the car when you are driving.

Thank you brother I love them so much now I will be the one with the coolest car seats I said as I went over and gave him a big hug. Then mom and dad was the last ones to give me their gifts they handed me an envelope and I open it and was reading it and I was shocked I turned around and looked at them and said really. They both shipped their head and said yes Mom ended up giving me the papers for me to be illegally emancipated all I had to do was to sign my name on my part because my mom had already signed her name on her part. Dean was paying the lawyer to have it done all I had to do was sign it and mail it back to the lawyer on Monday. I handed the documents over to Calum and went over to hug mom and Dean my stepfather and thank them for the gift that I really wanted. They also told me since I was now illegally emancipated as soon as I turn the papers in then I can move in with my mates this coming weekend.

Everyone had a really good time and I thanked everybody for coming and told the ones who are staying to help their selves to a room. I gave everyone a hug and told them thank you again for their gifts and to travel safe back home for those who were leaving.
