Waking up to the early morning sun lightly shining over the horizon I get up out of bed and head towards the shower. Shortly after I finish showering I head back into my bedroom to get dressed. Once I finish getting dressed I head downstairs into the lab as I make my way towards where Tony is standing "hey, what are you doing up?" He asked me with concern laced in his voice as he looked over at me "I couldn't sleep." I said giggling at his facial expression.
"Well, you wanna help me out here?" He asked me "sure." I replied while giggling at him "here. Come over here." He said as we walked over to an area with holograms of things Tony was building or deciding to build as I stare at them in awe "holy shit, is that an Arc reactor?" I asked him while pointing towards it "yeah, you know what that is?" He questioned me with surprise laced in his tone of voice.
"Yeah, I've always wanted to make one ever since I saw Iron Man's suit on the news one day." I said with a smile on my face as I glanced up at him "you like Iron Man?" He asked me "yeah, he's fucking awesome. I mean come on all those inventions he made and the suit it's so cool." I replied as he chuckled at me "well, I'll tell you what why don't you work on this by yourself and I'll supervise you." He replied while turning to look at me "really? Are you serious?" I asked him with excitement that I simply couldn't contain "yes, yes I'm a hundred percent serious." He said while nodding at me "okay." I replied as I began to work on the task at hand.
"Hey, Mr. Stark! Can you help me with this please?" I asked him as he chuckled at me "sure, kid. What's up?" He asked as he walked up to me "I can't figure out where this part goes." I said pointing to the problem I was having trouble with "okay, well you did everything right. So, this piece will essentially go right in the center but of course you won't see it due to the top of the reactor covering it." He replied with a smile on his face "thanks for this Tony." I said while pulling him into a tight hug as he chuckled at me "you're welcome, kiddo." He smiled at me as he lightly kissed the top of my head.
"Well, I'd say I'm a certified Stark if you ask me." I giggled while looking over at him with a smirk on my face "and I would 100% agree with you, Bree." He chuckled while ruffling my hair gently before kissing the side of my temple softly.
