Lagos
Sitting in a cafe inconspicuously surveying the area around me I grab a sugar packet opening it and pouring it into my coffee as I stir it around before taking a sip from it as I look around "all right, what do you see?" Steve asked over the comms "standard beat cops. Small station. Quiet street. It's a good target." Wanda mumbled quietly as she looked around "there's an ATM on the south corner, which means?" Steve questioned.
"Cameras." Wanda replied "both cross streets are one-way." Steve said "so, compromised escape routes." Wanda said "means our guy doesn't care about being seen. He isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out. You see that Range Rover halfway up the block?" Steve asked her "yeah, the red one? It's cute." Wanda sarcastically replied "it's also bulletproof, which means private security...which means more guns...which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us." Nat said "you guys know I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda asked out loud.
"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature." I said winking at her "anybody ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" Sam asked me "shut up Uncle Sam." I replied with a giggle "eyes on the target, folks. This is the best lead we've had on Rumlow in six months, I don't want to lose him." Steve said "if he sees us coming, that won't be a problem. He kind of hates us." Sam said "Sam, see that garbage truck? Tag it." Steve said "that trucks loaded for max weight. And the driver's armed." Sam said to us "it's a battering ram." I replied "go now." Steve said "what?" Wanda asked him "he's not hitting the police." Steve replied as we began going after the men.
Arriving at the building with Steve I charge at the men as I kick and punch them effectively disarming and disabling them before they could cause any real damage to the city or to the public "Bree! Like we practiced." Steve said as I ran at him feeling him pick me up in his arms as he flipped me over his shoulder before twisting me around sending a kick straight to Rumlow's face knocking him down to the ground as we walked over to him.
"Who's your buyer?" I asked him to which I got no response when all of a sudden he pushes a button making a bomb vest go off but before it can cause any damage Rumlow is lifted up and thrown into a building as it explodes making me look to the side to see Wanda with a look of shock on her face "hey, come on, it wasn't your fault." I whispered gently picking her up off the ground as we made our way out of the city.
