The next morning arrives as I wake up to the sound of an obnoxious beeping coming from my bedside table as I extend my hand out shutting off my alarm before getting up out of bed and making my way towards the shower. Shortly after I finish showering I head back into my room to get dressed into my training outfit as I quickly fix my hair before heading out and towards the elevator waiting for it to stop on my designated floor once it does I hop out and head into the training room.
"Morning aunt Nat." I said once I walked in "morning peanut." Nat said as she smiled at me while I walked over to her "what's the plan for today?" I asked her "combat using weapons." She replied as I nodded at her "okay." I muttered "take your pick." She said as she pointed at the wall behind her. Walking up I immediately spot two samurai swords as I reach up and grab them "these." I said holding it out to her "alright I'll grab the other pair." She replied "okay." I said nodding at her "now remember combat isn't always about the fight. It's about giving it your all and trying to win by any means necessary, you understand." She said as I nodded at her.
"Yep, I understand." I replied nodding at her "good, now I don't want you to hold back on me okay give it your full power." She said looking up at me "but what if I hurt you?" I asked her with worry evident in my voice "don't worry you won't." She replied nodding at me. Standing across from each other as we both waited for the other to make a move as I looked up at her with a smirk on my face charging at her swinging my swords at her as she dodges and blocks my attacks.
As I continue swinging them at her landing blows onto her swords until finally I'm able to knock one out of her hand looking up at her smirk as she does the same to me making me look up at her nervously I swing my sword at her letting out a yell of frustration as we continue sparring but, still neither one of us being able to land a blow on the other until without her realizing it I slide on the ground kicking her in the legs knocking her down to the ground.
Finally getting the angle on her as I stand up quickly pointing my sword at her throat as I looked down at her with a smirk on my face "you....lose." I said in between gasps as I try to catch my breath "yep, that I did. Good job peanut your one step closer to becoming an Avenger." She said with a smile on her face "thanks aunt Nat." I smiled before she walked away as Steve entered.
"Hey, sweetie ready for more training?" Steve asked me "as ready as I'll ever be uncle Steve." I said chuckling "alright, let's begin then, shall we?" He said as I nodded at him. Standing across from each other not that far away from the other as Steve charges at me throwing punch after punch my way as I duck and dodge them before he can land a hit on me as I smirked at him taking notice of the evident anger on his face.
I run at him throwing punch after punch at him as he dodges them effortlessly before he can throw one my way I dodged it sending a high kick straight to his face as his head swings to the side from the force of the impact making him stop and look up at me. Running straight at me as he swings his arm at me trying to hit me but I dodge it before he can land a hit on me as I send punch after punch his way but have no success in landing a hit on him as I try to send a punch to him again but before I could he grabs my fist flipping me over his shoulder effortlessly.
Springing back up as I run at him sending an elbow to his stomach before I hit him in the face with the back of my fist making him groan before kicking him in the shin sending him to the ground from the pain as I wrap my legs around his neck bringing him down to the ground with me. Squeezing down on his throat harshly letting out a groan of frustration before suddenly letting go as I feel him tap on my shoulder gasping for air once he's free from my hold on him "that's one strong grip you have Bree." Steve said as he rubbed his throat.
"Sorry, about that." I muttered lowly "no, no it's okay. It's a good thing that means you have a lot fight in that body of yours and you won't back down from a fight." He said with a smile on his face as I giggled "I guess that's one good thing I learned while being at HYDRA." I replied as he nodded at me "yeah, must've had a hell of a trainer." He smirked making giggle at him as he ruffled my hair gently.
