We got home an hour before dinner and got freshen up. I talked with Zack and mom and told them everything what happened on the dinner with my parents, Nick was also their but he was silent most of the time. I told them that father wants to mend our relation and he is welcoming to everyone of them. They were shocked and happy mom hugged me when I told her this. By the time I was done telling them dinner was ready and right now we are sitting on our dinner table eating food wit an awkward silent from Zack and Nick. I don't know what they are thinking but mom tried to talk a bit but they are still silent.
"Grace, I want to tell you that Emily is missing you like crazy and she wants to really meet you, will you come with us this weekend", mom asked me.
I took a sip of water and replied," mom you know I can't go right now with all the work pending but do tell her that I'll visit soon".
"But what about Darren he is alone back home as we all are here you know", She asked me. I was till trying to tell her that I'm not going at all because of work commitment but she will not listen and dad being dad he will definitely feel bad now when we all are here.
I got an idea come to my mind and I know mom would not deny this idea of mine.
"Mom, well no one is going home this weekend", I said and pause as I see shock written on their faces.
"Grace we understand you don't want to go but why should we stop", Nick asked me.
"Well dear brother this weekend we will have a brunch party here, I want dad here and I'm calling father before he leaves on business trip. And I want a sweet table set up by Emily and I want to invite them too", I told them about my plans they were thinking.
"Okay grace I like your idea and I'll call Darren and I'll like you to talk with Emily personally so you can invite her with her family", Mom said to me and we start talking about menu and all, This time even Zack and Nick told me what they want to eat.

Yesterday evening after dinner we all had decide on the food for brunch I know what dad and father eat (dad means Darren and Father means Alexander her real father), we all know what we all love in common but I have no idea about Emily's family so mom was helping me in it because she knows them really well. And I'm not calling mother and telling father to come by himself not to invite her I want this brunch to be more peaceful.
It was eight in morning and I was in the kitchen talking with m staff what tomorrow is going to be like and making arrangements with staff. That's when mom come inside and sat next to me, until I was done telling them. Once I have dismissed everyone I turned to mom.
"Good morning, did you sleep well", I greeted her and asked.
"Good morning dear, I did get a nice rest but can't say the same for you. Why are you up early today", She asked me.
"I woke up early and can't fall back to sleep so I just did some work and gone to gym just got back", I said to her but didn't explain much because I know she understand what I was saying.
"Well did you eat anything", she asked me.
"No, just coffee breakfast is getting ready", I said to her as we drink our coffee.
"Grace, did you call your father to invite him for tomorrow", She said and she know that I would wait till noon.
"No, mom after I have my breakfast then I'll call him", I told her and she looked at me with raised eyebrow.
"Call him here in front of me darling and I'll call Emily and we need t talk with Darren too", she said to me.
Just then a maid set two plates in front of us, with a jar of juice and some more coffee, as she start bringing food on table toast, egg, bacon, some vegetables cooked with some pepper and salt and a bowl of oats with fruits.
Me and mom filled our plates and I send someone to fetch both my brothers down for breakfast I know they will not come before an hour. We both finished our food and moved in living room so we can talk with father. We sat on a couch and I took a deep breath and dialed father's number. It rang for two times before he picked.
"Hello, Alexander Knight speaking who's this", He said to me and I know he didn't check the ID before picking up. Typical father you might think that he is a big business tycoon so he would be a little bit more busy and always alert of things around him but, father has a very bad habit of ignoring his surrounding when he is reading something.
"Hello, father did you forgot your only child this soon", I said to him with humor.
"Oh princess, how are you", he said to me when he recognized my voice.
"I'm good father, but are you busy right now", I asked him.
"No, princess just checking on some things, so how did my lovely daughter called me today", He asked me.
"Well, father I want to invite you for a brunch on Sunday", I asked him.
"Sure, princess just send me time and address", He said to me and continued," I can get some time to spend with you, and I'll tell your mother about the plans to".
"Father, can you not tell mother about this I have called some people too and I think she should not come at least this time", I told him this.
"You invited Darren's family didn't you princess", Father asked me.
"Yes, I called them and some more friends father, and I don't want mother to create a scene", I said to him.
"Okay, I'll not tell her and she have a high class party, and I'll come princess and make sure to make some lemonade for me just like you use to make when you were young", He said and I could feel him smile.
"Okay father I'll make it myself", I said to him and we talk a little bit more than disconnected the call.
I smiled and looked at Lisa and saw Nick and Zack were also their.
"I'll talk with dad and Emily later I need to talk with the chef I'll meet you in an hour", I said to them and got up after giving them a smile I left to meet the chef. I have a good feeling about this brunch so far, let see what happens.
